My wife LOVES these shoes. We just finished a 100+ mile bikepacking adventure. Stiff enough to sustain speed, comfortable enough for endurance riding (and the occasional hike up a hill at a rest stop). Highly recommended!

I respectfully disagree with the other review. I LOVE these shorts. The padding is perfect for long cyclocross rides, which have plenty of bumps and jumps. Sizing is true. I am a 36"/38" waist and the XL was perfect. Good coverage fore and aft, in case you are walking into the coffee shop after a long ride.=) No, this is not transparent. This is the uniform, dude! Highly recommended for long rides at high speed where drag is a factor. Thanks to Gearhead Justin!

I love this jersey (and almost everything else Mavic makes). Per the recommendations, I sized up 1-2 sizes to XXL. I have ridden several hundred miles in this and my matching bib. The black is *slightly* see-through, but that is what allows the piece to breathe. Thanks to Gearhead Justin for the great recommendation!

I am very happy with the Black Diamond Spire Elliptic Trekking Pole.

The elliptical shape of these poles gives them strength when hacking up a steep trail on snowshoes.

Few other poles on the market are as light and sturdy.

Cheaper poles may a few seasons (or a few hikes) and then fail you. Black Diamonds are a durable good meant to last for years.

If you snowshoe, these are worth the investment.

I just love these gators.

Pros:
- Durable
- Warm
- Excellent fit
- Stylish

Cons:
- A little pricey, but worth it.
- Sizing chart is off. I am a solid shoe size 12 and the XLs were too big. I return for those the Ls, which fit my boot and leg perfectly.

I wear these with the Salomon Beluha (black) snow boots. Snowshoeing is a blast!

I love my Mischaka boots!

Pros:
- Extremely light-weight and comfortable.
- Beige color is beautiful. Goes well with black or khaki snow pants.
- Feature not mentioned: gator hook makes the boots ideal for snowshoeing.
- Great ankle and arch support.
- Fine snow traction
- Warm but breathable

Cons:
- A little expensive, but definitely worth it.
- Not made for casual wear.

Salomon hit the jackpot with this boot. Superior to any other other snow boot I have owned or tried on.

Salomon Beluha are some of the best snow and hiking boots I have ever owned. They are warm and sturdy yet light and breathable. They also feature a gaiter hook--a useful surprise (which is not in the product description). I find that Salomon boots fit me exceedingly well; my feet neither slip around nor feel cramped. I use these boots both for snowshoeing in the back country and driving around town on snowy days. Yet again Salomon proves that it understands the delicate balance between ruggedness, fit and comfort. Highly recommended.
