Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
Fit: True to size
Size Purchased: Large

I was waffling between 2 & 3 stars but after re-reading the description of these shoe covers on the Giordana website I decided that these are as described - water-resistant not waterproof. The description is a little misleading as the covers incorporate a waterproof membrane, which seems to be true. However, the seams are not sealed and after just a couple minutes of spraying the shoe covers with a hose my feet were soaked. They also describe these as "mid-weight" and that's simply not the case. These are thin with no lining and no insulation. That being said, they do have a nice, snug fit and they have reflective accents which is nice. These would be good for Autumn or Spring riding when it's cool but not cold and the roads are relatively dry. Not recommended for winter riding when the temps drop and the rain is falling.

Familiarity: I've used it several times

I've tried ALOT of different carbon handlebars trying to find just the right one and this is close. Lever reach is good and I like the shape of the drops. My only issue is with the flattened tops which are not parallel to the drops. The result is that instead of a neutral, horizontal position, the tops end up angled back toward the rider which I don't find comfortable. I had this same problem with the K-Force bars.

I've tried alot of different gloves over the years and these are the best fitting long finger gloves I've ever used. The padding is just right ... not too thick, not too thin. The wrist closure is very comfortable. Like all Sugoi products I have used, the gloves are well made and it is apparent that some thought went into the design. For example, the palms are perforated (this in itself is not unique) but Sugoi took the extra step of adding reinforcing on the finger tips of the pointer and middle fingers. Why is this important? Well, I have 2 other pairs of long finger gloves with perforated palms and both of them have holes worn through the fingertips.
