I love the way these shoes look and they seem to be put together well. I wear 9.5 in salomon, nike, adidas, salewa, asolo, arcteryx, pretty much everything. I ordered these in 9.5 and they're about a half inch large and slip in the heel. Also, the knit portion is made for people with larger legs, and hangs loose around my legs. I'm sad, but chicken legs aren't Merrell's fault. I'll have to return them. The shoes. Not the chicken legs, stuck with those.

i got these for the office because they're more stylistically subdued than the barents pro etc which i have and use outdoors. it will be hard to keep these just for the office but that's the plan. i got them in two colors only because the third color wasn't available in my size! i'll be watching and get them in the third color as soon as available.
single back pocket with zipper, gusseted knees but no gusseted crotch, great true-to-size fit (fit is the same as other fjallraven). no gaudy leather logos but a nice stitched logo at the right pocket same color as pants fabric. a solid, high quality pantaloon.

five stars. i have many pairs of the older model and they last forever but i wanted to try a set of the new...the drawstring is external on the front which i prefer. the side pockets are positioned better and easier to use. i feel like the internal liner may be slightly less tight which is a good thing. perfection as usual.

i tested this coat in freezing rain. bomb. 8 below zero in windy iowa with nothing but a cotton tshirt underneath. supreme comfort. lightweight and very packable. people always saying"your coat is so shiny!" ohhhh people. well i tried to buy this coat again tonight because it was on sale. my coat was stolen and nothing else seems as good. it's avaialble in large only now. folks if you wear a large and you want to be warm and dry, and tend to forget or lose your hat (the hood is bery warm) then get this coat while they still make it. when its available in medium again i will BUY it! i paid about 400 and dont regret it

I got the "gray" set this time with black knee zones. As I've gained weight, I've noticed these pants keep feeling tighter! WTF? just joshin'; however, do know that the "gray" in these pants is dark dark charcoal. Almost black. My favorite color scheme so far was "rust" with black knees. Now it's these in gray. If you don't have a butt, maybe you should try getting these pants because they give an optical illusion of having nice gluten. I mean gluten. GLUTES

Lightweight, EXTREMELY comfortable in long distances, but rocky trails shred em. The toe portion of the sole in the front part of the shoe is peeling away after one long race on super nasty trail, with roots and rocks. A month and a half on treadmills and they were like new. After this one race (50k) they look bad but are still fully functional and I will glue back and continue to use. This is the price to pay for such a light weight, and I will purchase again. The trade off is WORTH IT

Used this in a 50 k (mountain trails) where resupply box was available every 10-12 miles. The squish bottles that come with it are perfect for electrolyte drink mixes (half liter each) and i used the 1.5 liter bladder from my Nathan vest. The outer main pouch was enough for a thermal long sleeve and a few goodies. Minimal. No front snack pockets but you can tuck one each in behind the pockets for the bottles in front. Great adjustable fit, no issues with flopping around. Salomon aced it. That being said, you gotta pare down the gear list. Super light!!!
