Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have been running this tire since it came out a few years ago. I live in boulder county, CO and ride pavement and dirt in the pains and mountains. on an open pro rim, this tire does just barely fit in a specialized tarmac.
pros : good ride
easy enough tubeless setup
long wearing
cons: prone to failure- of the 7 or 8 of these tires I've had, I've had to toss 2 or 3 of them w small cuts that just wouldn't stay sealed at adequate riding pressures (say > 75psi). given the cost, a bit frustrating. the scwalbe one rides just as well, or better, and is far more durable, but is much heavier.

I continue to run these, but eagerly await another road tubeless tire that is plump, light and a bit tougher

Fit: Runs large

Ive had 2 pairs of these that have lasted three winters of cold weather riding and commuting. They are now threadbare but have been worn a ton.
1. they do fit roomier than traditional bibs but I think that makes them warmer
2. they are long enough to have good overlap w knee or leg warmers
3. chamois average, but has held up well
4. fabric remains warm after repeated washings

I'm really happy with these for what they are- thermal bibs that allow you to ride in sub 20 degree temps without freezing your nads off or wearing a second pair of tights. Comfortable into the 40's,, so you don't get hot on the way home from work. Ive owned panache, castelli and capo thermal bibs and I like these best. In general, I don't like PI bibs but these are great

I've been a road tubeless user for four years. This is a great riding tire that mounts easy and holds air well. 6 weeks use on a commuter w dirt, pavement, etc. I am pleased w short term durability. I'd give five stars for ride quality and ease of (tubeless) use, but it is substantially heavier than a hutchison secteur. So maybe not a race tire, but i believe otherwise an improvement over hutchison tires.

I like nice socks and these are king. They were my sock of choice for 100 mile mountain bike races this summer and yet I pull them out for frosty 30degree commutes in the fall and winter. versatile.
