Finally a soft shell made out the original Schoeller incredible fabric that is not a sweatbox. Not since the old Cloudveil Serendipity jacket has there been a soft shell that is tough as nails, super breathable and weather resistant like this. Seems like all new soft shells are like gore windstopper and others that are windproof and more water resistant, but don't breath at all. T hat is not the point of a soft-shell. It need to be tough and breathable. This Base Jump SO jacket is just that. Perfect for ski touring and ice climbing. This fabric can take a ton of abuse and water rolls right off of it. Best of all it is truly breathable but still blocks some wind. if you want waterproof throw on a hard shell. This thing also seems like a great value knowing it will last a long time. I'd say it runs true to size, has great sleeve length and if anything is an athletic fit, i.e., not big and boxy but just right.

Bought this Jkt for my wife who would not right a review but she love this new ski shell. Fabric is stretchy but is tough and feels like a soft shell but is a hard shell and taped. Inside lining is soft and not scratchy like every other shell we've had. Full assortment of features and pockets are great. Zip out snow skirt, goggle wipe cloth in the inside pocket, pit zips. Most of all she loves the fit and the purple blue combo. Going to buy the pants next. She thinks the fit is true.

Can't wait for the real cold weather but woke up this morning to the low 30's and used the Eigerjoch on my morning hike up to about 10K feet were it was in the teens. This puffy is amazing, huge loft and it is so light for how warm it is. Fabric and the make is really high quality as expected from Mammut. Love the look of it and especially the hand gaiter/cuffs. you have the option to use them or use like regular cuff with no compromise. Also love the grippy stretchy stuff at the bottom. This really seals up well and will keep you warm. For the money it seems like the best heavy down parka out there. Love the dark blue color!

Not sure why a Swiss brand says Sov Godt on the zipper pull which means sleep well in Norwegian. Although thats what I do when I sleep in this bag. Super nice and feels very lofty for the temperature range. Nice materials and a silky smooth lining is really comfortable. Not the lightest bag but pretty reasonable and packs small enough to fit in my 60 liter pack without any trouble. Great value for the price. My wife got it for me as a present as I wanted a bigger bag than my other ultralight mummy bag. Definitely has good room throughout the bag. Highly recommended and high quality.

Great job on this shovel. I like a larger bladed shovel and one that does not bend and deform easily. This one is stout and really well made. you can dig normally or chop at ice with the hoe style. Big shovel and long telescoping handle but still fits in my packs shovel pocket.

Love all of my Mammut gear and clothing, my 20 year old North Face bag is not lofting like it used to and had a good long life. So took a winger and ordered the UL 3 Season bag. Used it on a week long motorcycle trip and it was awesome. Bag has plenty of warmth and the temps got down to the low 40's at night maybe upper 30's one morning. Never had to zip the bag all the way up, in fact was unzipped most of the way and was toasty. The down is really high quality as you can tell that taking it out of the compression stuff sack it loft instantly. The inner fabric is silky and the outer seems tough and really water resistant. Zipper works smooth without snagging. Really couldn't be happier. I will say this is a great bag if weight and packed size is what you are looking for. If you want a big bag with lists of room, maybe not your bag. I'd call it a little on the trim size as a technical mummy bag should be. It is super efficient at trapping heat and packs down really small.

Love this pillow. worth the minimal weight and size to carry it. Shape is right and stretch fabric is comfortable and seems durable. Used it on a recent trip on the plane. Will probably get a lot of use for travel more than camping. Love it.

Love this bag, I was looking for a high quality down fill bag that was light and packed small. This serves the purpose and it really well made and so light. Comes with a compression stuff sack so this packs incredibly small. Super warm and efficient. High quality materials. Definitely not a big bag but enough for me and comfortable as I sleep on my back with my legs straight.

Been loving Darn Tough socks and when I looked for a new ski sock I thought this made a lot of sense. Padded where you need it. used to like thinner socks but my boots liners are packed out a bit so this is the perfect thickness and not overly thick and bulky. Warm around the toes and love the padding over the tops of the big and little toes and in the heel. Like my other Darn Tough socks I'm sure these will last and last.

This Jacket is super light for a goretex jacket. I thought it would be the really thin see through kind of fabric for this weight. The fabric seems really tough and the fit is just about perfect. Nothing you don't need here. Just great protection and fit. Wish there was a pant to go with it. great style and super clean design.
