I'm a believer!

Familiarity: I've used it several times

I have several race bikes that yield a stiff ride. I'm a big dude and after 70 miles on my BH G7, my body was taking a beating. I was looking for something that would cushion the road and allow me to enjoy longer rides without giving up too much performance. I became interested in this bike because I heard that it was used on the cobbles - and it often wins. Well, after researching the frame, I also saw that it was a favorite of Dan Lloyd of GCN. I mean - I'm an older guy but I still want to ride a steed - not a sofa! I bought it and built it up with Ultegra Di2 and Reynolds AR 58/62 X DBs.

I love it. I describe it as the spawn of a ballon and a rocket. It's plenty fast, yet extremely compliant. Just what the doctor ordered! Fun to ride, good handling, fast, and comfortable. You might not like my setup - but it does turn a lot of heads.

Wearing this is heavenly! I cannot explain how I feel when I wear this jersey. The legendary ASOS fit - the smooth as silk feel - compression fabric - skin foil layer - not exactly like sex - but close. The only thing I disliked was the hokey Mercedes-AMG Petronas plastic patch on the chest. I took my handy seam ripper and removed it carefully. There is no sign of it now. Perfection. Heaven.

Was riding last weekend when it was supposed to be high 40's but wind chill made it feel like low 30's. I was 50 miles from home and the temperature was dropping. Stopped by a bike shop and bought these. Surprise! Relatively easy to get on. Kept my feet warm all the way home. Very nice product. I wear a Sidi 46 and US 12. I bought an XL and the fit was very good.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I had a Wahoo Kickr (1st generation) which I really liked. It was a bit noisy and I live in an apartment. My wife was complaining about the noise from the other rooms - so I decided to swap it out for the Neo. (This was before the Kickr Gen 2 came out - which is supposed to be substantially more quiet). I like this machine marginally better than I liked the Kickr.
Pros:
- Virtually silent
- Works like a charm
- Looks like a rocket ship - so cool
- Realistic feel when riding over cobbles and planks - also cool
- Feels more "life-like" due to magnet drive vs. flywheel on Kickr. Makes downhill more realistic

Cons:
- A little tougher to mount my bike than it was with the Kickr
- Price
- Setting up and breaking down takes longer and is slightly awkward due to a lack of a handle and the way the legs open and shut. It's not easy to break down and to move around. But if you just leave it in one place - no big deal.

I would give it a 5 if not for the breakdown/setup issue.

Familiarity: I've used it several times

I had a Feedback Sports stand that I loved. It was a seatpost clamp stand. It was awesome. Alas, I purchased a new road bike that has disc brakes, a seat-tube mast, and thru axels. The clamp would not work with the mast (it could easily crack if over-torqued), so I sold the old stand and purchased this. As was my old stand, it's a well engineered thing of beauty - as one would expect from Feedback Sports. It's easy to use, strong, and I love the spinning capability. Here is the downside:
1 - It takes longer to set up and break down
2 - Mounting the bike by removing the front tire is a PITA
3 - My thru axle is a 12mm, and I needed to purchase an adapter to fit (another ~$20).
For a quick fix or bike wash, nothing beat the old stand. However, as more and more road bikes will have thru axles and disc brakes - it was inevitable.

The first time I wore this, I was not sure what to expect. It was from 50 - 60 degrees outside and I also wore a light base layer underneath. Was not cold at all - and not warm, either. Perfect. Just what I was looking for. I have other L/S jerseys but they are more fleece-y and when I perspire, they don't wick well. Also, they do not block wind. This jacket/jersey does both I think it's a jack-sey. Buy it and enjoy.

I started using this many years ago. Got fed up paying the price. Tried some others. This winter, I did a lot of indoor Zwifting and developed private area problems. Went back to Assos. Much better. Thank you. Not leaving you again.

Assos quality...sorry I found it because I don't want to wear anything else anymore. The styling of this jersey is also really nice. I must admit, I look better with it on than off :-( I am very happy with this. Fit? I don't have any problems with an XLG.

I saw this helmet on GCN and the guy said that it was really good for cold weather because you can l close the vent making it aerodynamic AND keep the wind out. So I bought the helmet. I always wear a size large in every helmet I've ever owned. When I tried it on, it would not go over my head. Darn! What the heck, right? I returned it. My LBS was surprised it would not fit because he said it was actually pretty roomy. He asked, "Did you open it up?" I asked, "What"? "Did you pull the adjuster knob down"? So, there's an adjustment knob assembly at the back of the helmet that you need to pull down and open up so that you can get it on your head. Duh-oh! When I pulled it down and opened to adjustment knob, it fit like a charm. The problem in that the first time I wore it, when I went over bumps, the air vent door rattled! It sounded like something in my front end was rattling - but it was the helmet door! The good news is, it's comfortable, fits well, looks pro, and gives you a ventilation option. The bad news: it rattles when you hit a bump.

Was a little disappointed in the fit. Along the chest, there's a band of fabric between upper chest and neck that fits oddly. Of course...it would be my body, but none of my other jerseys fit me this way. Weird thing is that the zipper is metal, but the zipper is plastic. Not sure about its potential longevity. well, with Competitive Cyclist's return policy, I will give it a chance... Maybe I'll like it more as I use it...

I know that everyone is different, and when it comes to cyclists, our differences are extraordinarily different. For me, this is the best chamois I've ever sat on. Period. It is a bit thicker than most, but it's so comfortable! If you don't mind a chamois that's on the ticket side, Todd is the one you want. As far as sizing goes, yes, the short ribs small. Smaller than the Castellis I usually wear. Order a size up. BTW, after I used these sorts a few times, I bought another one.

I purchased this jersey after having purchased it's matching bib short. I saw the short at a substantial discount and bought it for indoor training as you can never have too many unmatched bibs when you train a lot, right? Well, the shammy on those shorts is amazing, and the fabric was great. The gripper was also superb - wide but not biting. So, I figured, maybe I take a chance on the jeresy and make it a kit. Glad I did. Did I mention it also looks great?

It's great to have 19 tools, but if the shaft of the hex tool is too short to enable you to adjust your seat screws because the tool is so wide that there is insufficient clearance -- so that you'll need to do 1/4 turns instead of 1/2 or 3/4 turns -- you'll get frustrated (like I did), and wish you had a different multi-tool. In short, I would suggest a slimmer multi-tool which actually has tools that are USABLE! Great to have 19 tools...but better to have 6 or 9 that you can really USE!
