Fit: True to size
Height: 6' 0"
Weight: 175 lbs
Size Purchased: medium

This is a great jacket. The weight-to-warmth ratio is really impressive. I'm also pretty impressed by how will it breaks strong wind considering how thin it is. I have yet you spend long periods outside in harsh temps, but I'm confident it will do quite well with a shell overtop.

The fit is nice and trim, which I like. I'm 6'0'', 175 and wear a medium (don't like looseness).

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I haven't used it yet but plan to take it on a backcountry trip in a few months. The interior fabric (comfy) and shape of the bag (can sit Indian style comfortably) are great, and the features (pillow pocket, face flap, 'hood' that can tighten) are solid.

My only hang up is the length. I'm 6'0'' and it's a snug fit when laying on my back fully extended. I fit, bit the hood wraps around my head and there's no wiggle room. Going to the long version didn't make sense (extra 4-5 inches). This is just a heads-up if you're my height.

Because it's a quality bag and I'll likely sleep on my side anyway, I kept it in the end. Still a thumbs up.

The bowl's material is great - very sturdy plastic, so I'm not worried about warping or cracking if my pack is too full. The sizing is nice; it will hold a hefty meal (and I eat a lot). With the thumb holder, it's very easy to hold onto, even with a pair of gloves.

All in all, it's a great product.

as is often the case with the capilene line, these baselayer pants are solid. while some can be too tight and constricting, the cap 4s are quite comfy.

I did expect them to be a little bit warmer than they are with being a #4, but they were enough for what I was doing (skiing in the Rockies - avg temp in the mid 20s). I wore them under a shell ski pant with no integrated lining. These would also be great for a cold night around the campsite.

I lost the first pair so I had to find a replacement....

I shopped around but wasn't able to find anything quite as good, escpecially at this price point; it's hard to beat their comfort and warmth (they're also quite windproof). I wouldn't ski in them, but they're perfect for outdoor activities or just getting around town. They also have small grips on the palm, index finger and thumb, so they work for shoveling snow, carrying things, etc. as well.

all-and-all: great buy for the price.
