Derk M.wrote a review of K2 ObSETHed Alpine Ski on February 17, 2009
I had a chance to ski the Obsethed in a 189 in early January. Conditions were about a foot of heavy powder at The Canyons in Utah (well, heavy for Utah). I have never been able to ski so fast and effortlessly.... EVER! The one caveat here is that all my skiing was confined to open bowls. Fast forward to early February. I was able to pick up the 179 Obsethed dirt cheap. Mounted them with Griffons and went up to Deer Valley after a good dump of blower dry powder. I was a little anxious about the shorter ski, but I quickly found the 179 able to ski anything on the mountain. Untracked powder, bumps, tight trees, crud, hard groomers.... all were effortless and induced an immediate smile. Quite possibly one of the best days I have ever had on skis in a resort. I know that I am only a focus group of one, but these are simply the best skis that I have ever been on. I would not hesitate to recommend the Obsethed to any advanced skier.
