Overly toasty...
4 5

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I got this bag on a budget, this bag is great but could be better-draft tube internal pocket and zipper on the right instead the left.
Anyways, I have slept many nights in this bag and granted it is bulky and heavy I have gotten it to compress to half the size it is normally it's still a great piece. It does need "venting" I do not dare sleep on the couch with I wake up sweating every time. It does just fine on a pad where excess heat can dissipate freely. I LOVE how roomy this is I bought the wide version and even though at 5'6" 130lbs, I toss an turn a lot and this bag fit the bill. I have had it out in high 30's and tee shirt and shorts and does what it's supposed to do. Even bought the wife one. The other thing is that I've had to change the way I zip it up since there is no tube near the zipper if your not careful you'll snag it every time. But for the value I'm not too concerned. Most of the time I leave it open anyways. I did pair it with thermarest neo camper sv, it does hang over the sides (a couple inches) it covers the whole pad so I'm pleased.

Neo camper pad large
4 5

Familiarity: I've used it several times

Soooo I've had this pad for awhile......I really enjoy this pad. The color alone was the seller in the first place. I originally had checked this pad out in an outfitter store near me, but was only 80% sure so I did my research. New for 2016 this was, so not too many reviews.
The fabric is awesome as restless as I am I get the same noise as sleeping on cotton sheets.
Sizing is perfect for me granted, I'm only 5'6

Prana Zion stretch convertible 28x30
4 5

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Fit: True to size
Height: 5' 6"
Weight: 133 lbs
Size Purchased: 28x30

These pants are my goto pants when hiking. I've even used these pants so much as I even cut grass in them. They have repelled harsh rain and snow, deep snow had to be brushed off but that was okay. The pockets are awesome I can actually carry a pocket knife and it not dig into to me every which way. They do fit to size for me 5'6" 133lbs, I can fit an iPhone 4s in one thigh pocket and keys in another and be comfortable. The reasons I only give it four stars are these:
1: the zippers are a pain in the ass to operate, this might be due to the fact of some type of water repellent used on them.
2: they are a low cut pant, they sit below the belly button I always feel like I'm constantly hiking my pants up like a girl.
3: shallow crotch area, probably due to use for rock climbing harness.
4: the so called belt...sucks. It's smaller than a cat toy.
Other than that I would totally recommend these pants and will be in the market for another pair, just need to decide which color I need :)

This jacket is awesome! My only cons are, the sleeves are about three inches too long for me and the hook and loop on the front zipper could stand to be a bit wider. I try to wear this anytime it rains! I bought this jacket because of the features it has and I don't have a rain/wind jacket I wanted to "buy one and done" and this fit the bill. Zippered armpits for breath ability, cinched hood (a huge plus) hook and loop cuffs, and it compresses into its own pocket ( a very huge plus!!) very lightweight , and the two toned bomber blue/ navy blue sealed the deal. Obviously this jacket does not breathe which is fine and the water beads up on the shell rather than drip off. I've used it in snow and all types of rain.i do use this jacket as part of my daily kit that I keep in the car at all times. I would recommend this piece of gear as your next new piece!

So far these socks have performed very well. No blisters even when sopping wet. I paired these with Merrell yakotas, wore them to work for ten hour days, wore them on trail packed snow multiple times and on hard surfaces. Everything about this sock is what I wanted in it and performed like it should. I wear a 9-9.5 and bought the larges, bought three pairs. Recommended

Mini reservoir kit
4 5

Familiarity: I've used it several times

Pros:
Made in the USA
Super lightweight
Needed only a liter of water to carry to be fast and lite
Converts easily to a hydro tube which I currently am running
No plastic taste
The price tag
Rolls up and stows away nicely
Good for edc bags too
The cons:
Needs something to hold it up if converting to hydro tube. Sags and getting water becomes a real chore. And it always has a tendency to fall over in my pack.
-I took this with me on the manitou incline and red rock canyon open space and ran perfectly as a tube set up. Was just the right amount of h2o and had some left over in the car. I do use this set up everyday though. I'm kinda interested in buying the big bite valve though, flow is okay but could be better. The only two flaws is what merits this product four stars.
