It's pretty simple... if you like Nano Air and want an insulated, water-resistant jacket, you're gonna like the Nano Storm. I'm a huge fan of the Nano insulation. I know it can be considered bulkier and less than flattering... but I love it.

I was looking for a replacement to my beloved, yet discontinued, Chiefs. And these are even better. The Chief's spring hinges allowed them to fit on top of my head... sort of. But the Colson's combination of the spring hinges and rounded arms really feel great on top. They even work over a beanie on top of my sputnik-like head.

The ignitor lens is my go to winter lens. While not the best on the brightest of days, they really shine on every other day of the winter (I rarely wear them when the sun is above the equator). On those low light, drab days, the ignitor provides a nice pop in definition and clarity. And, who doesn't like seeing the world through rose colored lenses?

I've used these pants inbounds and out. The lack of pockets makes them less than ideal for me for inbounds skiing. These pants really only have enough space for keys and some lip balm. Everything else will need to find a home in your jacket.
For touring, however, they are great. I was able to dump plenty of heat on the way up with the side zips. And I felt well protected in a stiff breeze at the top. They are incredibly light. If you're worried about trimming ounces from your set up, these are the ticket.

I needed a mid layer that gave me just a bit more warmth than my fleece vest without burning me up. And it does exactly that. I was comfortably warm up to the mid-twenty's.
My only complaint is that I don't love the look of it by itself. But, I don't need it to be my jacket.

These are the best pair of sunglasses that I have ever owned. The spring hinges help them retain their shape after being on my big head, day after day. The polarchromic ignitor lenses improve visual clarity at different light levels. I've worn them fishing, driving and biking. I simply love these shades.

I was a bit nervous when I bought these skis. I worried that the 195's were too much ski for me (6-1, 195). That all went away when I put these puppies on. Skiing in Jackson, I skied trees, bowls, groomers, bumps and chutes. They are the best thing that I can remember purchasing in a long time. They do everything they claim to do in my opinion. As other reviewers stated, they ski a lot shorter than 195.
They're not great on re-frozen southern aspects or the race course. But, as powder skis, I wouldn't expect them to be.
