i've only used them on one trip (4 days of boarding) but this trip was the most extreme weather i've been in. these things are not lined so you better have something warm to put underneath them. they have no venting which is something i like to use on hotter days. the entire pant leg unzips though, not like that'll help much unless you're planning to take them off. they fit perfectly over my board boots which is something i worry about when buying ski pants. they kept me dry all day long which is the most important thing to me. no soggy bottom from sitting in the trees and meditating. they seem to be very good quality. they fold up real nice and slim as not to take up all kinds of space in your luggage should you be flying. the best thing i liked about these is the barrier between you and the snow and wind. as long as you have a nice base layer and some warm socks these things will not disappoint. i would not recommend using these on hotter days unless you go without a base layer. the only other thing is that there are no belt loops, so if the sizing is a little off you may need suspenders. they aren't worth the price tag of $250 but for $100 i just bought my second pair.
