Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have owned this rack for two years. Daily use. First it is not compatible with a Tacoma. The tailgate will always hit the rack and damage your tailgate. That’s not the issue.

My rack was poorly assembled at the factory resulting in an issue where I cannot retract the integrated lock with ease. In fact it became such a struggle that I had to stop using that side of the rack if I was planning on locking the bike. Finally my wife persuaded me to call Kuat and see what the deal was. I was upset that I would have any issue with a rack that cost this much.

Customer service mailed me a replacement plastic inner piece in a box without any directions. It required a complete disassemble of the bike rack. Roughly 45 mins. Once I got the rack disassembled I realized my issue. Who ever at the factory built my rack put the locking mechanism in upside down! No wonder the issue I thought.

So I reassemble the rack another 45 mins and now the lock is completely stuck and will not come out at all. I had to call customer service back. The lady on the phone was trying to be helpful and she was nice, but she was telling me that I needed to completely take apart the rack again and start from scratch. I said no way and asked for a new replacement for the actual rear wheel holder. She said no. She tried to find a bike shop that would work on it but no one would except one place about 30 minutes away.

So I disassembled my rack again and found the issue. It was an obscure issue with the placement of the inner plastic piece they sent me. So I fixed it finally. 2 days later and a lot of terrible frustration. So in the end I emailed photos of the various issues and guess what her response was?

“Oh you didn’t need to take apart the rack, all you had to do was remove two screws and be done with it. We are sorry we forgot to send directions.” Imagine my disgust.

Do not buy this product. It may look nice and Work generally well but terrible customer service and awful assembly.

The photo is of the cheap piece of plastic that is on the inside of the Kuat 2.0 NV. This is the entire security of your integrated lock. It is housed inside this plastic. Notice the lack of directions inside the box.

Exactly what every other 5 star review says. Amazing. Heavy weight flannel, very warm, and wife says it looks great. I guess I must like my shirts a little bigger because a medium fits me perfect. I got nervous when a previous reviewer said that he ordered a medium and he is 6' 1". Never thought someone 6'1" would order a medium, but hey, to each their own. But seriously, buy this shirt now. I am 5'9" and the medium is perfect

Bought this for the wife for Christmas and it's her new favorite thing. I was surprised at how heavy weight the fabric is and how soft it feels. Really happy with this purchase, but I would suggest waiting until Backcountry offers a 20% off coupon. I bought literally one day before they sent the 20% coupon to my e-mail. Great purchase, and go bigger in size if you have any questions cause it's a robe.

Love these flannel lined pants. Lately I have been only buying Prana clothes as the fit is the best for me. These pants are awesome and perfect for shoveling snow and working outside in the winter. I have gotten several comments on how good these pants look, and when I show people that they are flannel lined they ask how they can get some. Trust me, these pants are good enough for work or for going out. Prana really hit a homerun with these pants. I can't fail to mention that the side pocket is perfect for a standard 5 or 6 iPhone which is really nice.

Love this shirt and honestly this is my single best purchase ever. It's lined which makes warmer and perfect year round in Colorado. I do not believe that it runs large. I can typically wear a small or a medium in men's shirts so I read the original reviews and ordered a small. No chance that it would fit. I reordered a medium and the fit is perfect. I am 5'9" and 150 lbs. I now own two of these shirts. One of them I use specifically for work around the house, chopping firewood, etc and the other I use for going out in. Seriously if there was one shirt to rule them all it would be this shirt. Anyone who disagrees must be crazy.
