Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
This is the first pair of goggles which actually works for backcountry ascents as well as the descents. I've seldom used goggles for the backcountry as I have to stop, take my pack off, pull the goggs out, put them on, ski and then repeat the process. Instead, I predominately use the Julbo Trek sun glasses, which are almost goggle-like, except for now. I've spent three days touring in the wind, rain, howling snow and flat light with these goggles and never once had to take them off or had them fog up. The pop out lens is not only a great idea, but it works well.
The Snow Tiger lens is also quite dark, which I really like for backcountry skiing as the white snow is so reflective.
