I have suffered from Plantarfacitis my entire life. After a few hikes in these, I have NOT had to put insoles in them... That's a first for me!
The reviews that said these aren't waterproof- Baloney! I crossed a FAST, and COLD moving creek in the rocky mountains while trout fishing with my boyfriend. His feet- SOAKED. Mine- COMPLETELY DRY! I was mind blown and SO impressed! Not to mention the grip I had on dry AND wet rocks.
I also stepped in deep mud my first hike out and thought I completely trashed my right boot. A dunk in the lake and you can't even tell I stepped in mud!
I was between these and the Voyager because my feet tend to overheat while hiking. I ended up with these because I will be able to use them year-round vs. 3 months. Glad I did! My feet get warm, but definitely manageable with a great pair of smart wools, and by no means too hot.
Overall these were worth EVERY PENNY. I will be buying Keens from now on!!
