Solid Gore-Tex Daily Drivers!
5 5

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Fit: Runs small
Height: 6' 0"
Weight: 165 lbs

For those of us who don't wear skate shoes everyday! This is a great casual shoe with some nice technology built in. The Gore-Tex-Surround ensures dry passage from your car to the office, grabbing a pina colada, or getting caught in the rain...

The fit for me runs about a half size small. I normally wear a 9 and in these that put me right in the toe. I sized up to a 9.5 and am super happy. These shoes have a thin flexible sole, and plenty cushion for everyday use with just enough room in the toe box.

I use this shoe for daily casual wear and would recommend it for that use (and believe that is the intended use). The styling on these shoes allows you to wear them with skinny jeans or a technical hiking pant. You will be comfortable during your pre-climb camp coffee in Moab UT, as well as when you seek out that overpriced (yet delicious) locally roasted cup in Portlandia. If you are looking for a great fitting, comfortable daily driver casual shoe with Gore-Tex technology to keep you dry, this is your shoe.

I just picked these up and initial impressions that they are pretty sweet. The frame fits well, and the polarized chromapop lenses are dope. I got the David Luiz frame (matte black/mirrored lens) and cant wait to put them through the wringer. I have long lashes and have a hard time with glasses as they hit the lens and leave marks...not a problem on these guys.

I picked up these shoes today. It may be premature for a review but I have some initial impressions. Out of the box they felt very comfortable. I wore them at work and received several compliments and questions about the sole design. The construction is good quality and they do look cool. They kept my feet cool as well. I normally run in Salomon Speedcross and immediately missed the speedlace system. The fit felt similar however. They provide a soft step that for me will take a minute to decide if I like or not. I wore these for the day and by the time I got to my car my big toe joints were in pain. I will get out on a trail this weekend and update with additional thoughts.

Having one lens for all conditions makes me feel like a genius! No more trekking back to the car to swap out when the conditions change means more mountain time. I have had several resort days with this lens and it adapts quickly to changing light. The X1 system is great! Simple to swap lenses, secure, and stylish.

Familiarity: I've used it several times
Fit: True to size
Height: 6'
Weight: 170 lbs
Size Purchased: Medium

So many outdoor companies think everyone is boxy or wants to layer only in the midsection. TNF is usually one of those for me. I am 6 foot 170 lbs with long arms and a medium is great. I can wear a base-layer comfortably but usually find myself in a t shirt or flannel underneath. Great daily jacket and have been super comfortable in 10-20 degree around the city conditions.

I have had this jacket for a couple of weeks and never want to take it off. It is a trim cut by North Face standards which means it fits just right! I am 6 foot 170 lbs with long arms and wear a medium. The neck and hood are very comfortable. I have not used this as a layering piece yet as we have had a very mild winter in Utah but due to its breathability/vents it would perform the job well. I have too many jackets, and this is my daily go to. Warm when I’m outside and not overly warm when I’m inside. Great job TNF!

This is a nice and durable casual jacket. Fits well and true to size. I wear a medium and can layer a hoody and t shirt under it comfortably. Great fall/spring jacket. I am 6 foot 170 lbs. I have worn this several times as we have had a mellow winter and it is plenty warm for me with a flannel or hoody when it is 30-40 degrees out. It is my first Fjallraven piece and so far it has met my expectations.

Overall this is a very nice jacket. It fits well and isn’t super boxy like a lot of ski jackets. Enough room to layer comfortably. As a snowboarder I like the skirt because I sit every lift to strap in and it keeps my mid-layer dry. The hood is helmet compatible and really fits. I have not been in any major inclement weather but it held up well to a rain/snow day on the mountain this year. My only complaint is that the neck feels a little narrow and restrictive and too close to my face when fully zipped. I prefer a more technical jacket with an integrated hood for this reason. I am 6 foot 170 lbs and the medium is a great fit.

I just picked this up for my daughter. She is 16 and a beginner-intermediate rider. I chose this deck for her because of the rocker system (and it’s cute). This is a board she can improve on and not outgrow in one season. I paired it with Salomon Rhythm Bindings in army green. Good price point for the entire set up! I recently fell in love with Arbor with my purchase of the Coda Camber this season. I hope she loves this as much as I love my Coda.

I recently purchased these for my son, and he likes them so I picked these up in the women’s for my daughter. She is a beginner-intermediate rider and for the price these will get her through a couple of seasons. Comfortable straps (although a little bulky) and secure toe strap. Plenty of features for her level such as tool-less adjustments, canted footbeds, and adjustable backs. Army green is her jam, and they look good on her new Arbor Paparazzi!

I have been riding Ride bindings for several years. (Ride EX). When I bought two snowboards this season, and only had one pair of bindings, these were an easy choice. The aluminum baseplate is bomber. These have just the right amount of flex for all mountain riding, and are quite responsive. Quality.

Salomon make a great product. I am riding the Assassin for one of my boards this winter, and handed down an old board to my son. He needed bindings and I didn't want to drop a ton of cash so I picked up these bindings. They get the job done at a really good price point. Buckle latches are "plastic" and the finish is super high gloss (these were the only "downsides" so far so that's good). He has ridden them a couple of times and likes them.

I recently picked up the Ride Lasso for myself and was super impressed with the inner boot lacing system and out of the box comfort of Ride boots. I was shopping for a boot for my son and decided that for an entry level boot, the Rook doesn't feel entry level. The same inner boot system, boa, and comfort is all there at a lower price point. Good boot for the price. He has ridden in them a couple of times and likes them.
