Zach Blessing's Bio

Recent transplant to the Salt Lake area from the great state of Kentucky. I spend the majority of my time climbing rocks but can also be found in the mountains skiing in the snowier months.

I decided to give these a try because of the new trigger keeper feature, and I must say that I am thoroughly impressed. The trigger keepers will save a ton of room on your gear loops. Also, you will no longer have to spend time looking for sticks to wedge in between the lobes to keep the 4, 5 and 6 condensed.

This chair is amazing! The bag is probably my favorite feature. It is incredibly easy to put the chair away, and it also doubles as a nice ground tarp for your pet. Kelty knocked this one out of the park!!

This is a great option for anyone looking for a budget-friendly rain jacket. I am very surprised by how well the DryVent membrane holds up to everyday wear and tear. All in all, I am very impressed with this jacket.

This is a great beacon for anyone looking to get into backcountry skiing. It is incredibly easy to use out of the box and as your skills progress you will be able to dive into more of the advanced capabilities. Also, I like how this beacon will switch from search to send after four minutes of inactivity.

My first day ripping these skis was on a pow day and the experience was unbelievable. The 115 waist allows for effortless floatation through the deepest of pow. These bad boys will also plow through the cruddiest of crud. You will not be disappointed if you decide to buy a pair of these all mountain rip sticks!

This board is truly shaped for any water condition. With the rockered Nose and Flat tail, it tracks well on flat water but can easily surf down class 2 rapids and give you a run for your money on class 3. The compact design of the board allows me to travel anywhere with the family and I never have to worry about the durability of the board.

Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
Fit: True to size

My wife and I got this bag for one of our family members that just had a kid and they were blown away. This thing is packed full of gadgets to make hiking with a kid much easier. The stirrup straps keep your kid from judo kicking you in the ribs every step. There is a sun canopy that pops out of nowhere and helps to keep your kid cool in even the hottest of conditions. The people at Osprey even thought to put a mirror in the hip belt so you can check on your kid without having to take your pack off. Seriously, these people think of everything!

Please note, I love this thing and I don't even have a kid!

I have only used these boots a handful of times but I am very impressed with their performance. The 103.5 last provides more than enough room for even the widest feet. The liners are super comfy and feel very durable. My only complaint is that these boots seem to be a bit soft for a 115 flex.
