Great crampons but had to modify to fit
5 5

Familiarity: I've used it several times

These crampons are easy to put on and served their purpose well during a 5 day course and climb of Mount Baker. Although they say one size, I did have to modify to fit my smaller La Sportiva Evos size 40.5. We had to pry the center black bar over the back lip to make small enough, but worked great after the adjustment. The overhang doesn’t interfere with usage, but would caution those purchasing with boot sizes under 40.

Perfect Layering Piece
5 5

Familiarity: I've used it several times
Fit: True to size
Height: 5' 5"
Weight: 125 lbs
Size Purchased: Small

I bought this jacket as a layering piece for a mountaineering course and future climbing endeavors. It ended up being one of my favorite pieces and perfect for keeping me dry when in the snow and breathable enough to regulate body temperature during high output pushes. Great quality and know it will hold up for the long run.

4 5

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Fit: True to size
Height: 5' 5"
Weight: 122 lbs
Size Purchased: Medium

First, I do really love this jacket and am happy with the purchase. It's extremely lightweight and packs down to nothing. I use it in the cooler winters of SC (keeps the wind out on the beach) and also as a midlayer when skiing out west.

I bought the aristocrat (dark blue) color and don't have issues seeing the feathers through like some others have mentioned of the lighter colors.

I have broad shoulders and it does fit a little snug under the arms, but never has restricted any movement. I usually wear a small, but did get a medium for layering purposes.

The only other issue I've noticed is that it snags easy, especially when the pocket zippers are open. The sleeve will snag on the pocket zipper. I just try to leave the pockets zipped closed.

Other than that, great jacket!
