Finally. A Breatheable Button Down
5 5

Familiarity: I've used it several times
Fit: True to size
Height: 6' 0"
Weight: 190 lbs
Size Purchased: Large

I was given this product from Backcountry, but this review is my personal opinion. Really digging this Arc'teryx Kaslo Long Sleeve Top. I'm an avid hiker and backpacker, and I really like the functionality that outdoor clothes have. I usually end up wishing my work shirts or weekend wear had the same features (like breathability, comfort, sun protection, and quick drying material). Stoked that this material on this shirt is comfortable and reminds me of my favorite outdoor button downs. But without looking like it's meant only for recreation.

I went with a size large Arc'teryx Kaslo Long Sleeve Top in the Delos Grey color. For reference, I'm 6' tall and 190 lbs in case that helps with sizing. The pattern is super simple and light, so it's easy to wear with dark pants at work but also easy enough to roll up the sleeves and keep it super casual on the weekend with jeans too. Since the buttons are hidden it's got a more modern feel to it than the usual exposed buttons you get in a regular shirt. The generous sized zipper pocket is a nice detail too. I haven't worn it for a hike or anything like that yet but I walk around a lot for work and this shirt keeps me pretty cool.

Awesome Trail to Town Shirt
5 5

Familiarity: I've used it several times
Fit: True to size
Height: 6' 0"
Weight: 190 lbs
Size Purchased: Large

I was given this product from Backcountry, but this review is my personal opinion. The Arc'teryx A2B Polo Shirt is insanely comfortable. It's hard to find a polo that fits well and breathes well, this one does both. Really like that it's made with a natural wool blend but isn't itchy or too warm. Easily one of the softest shirts I own. I like that the thin material keeps me really cool, fabric has good amount of stretch, and moves really well.

We've had a really hot summer here and I've been able to get a lot of wear out of this polo. It's nice to have an option for something I can wear for a morning hike and still feel comfortable stopping for brunch in town on the way back home. I've worn it out on two hikes and I definitely sweat a LOT on both. Says it has sweat wicking and odor resistant properties and those claims really seem to hold up. Check and check.

Can see myself packing this on a lot of trips since the fabric doesn't wrinkle easily and I could get multiple uses out of it. It's got a nice modern fit without being too tight or too clingy. Sometimes when I want a fitted polo the sleeves can come in short and the body length of the shirt is also shorter, but this one kinda seems to have the best of both worlds. My back and shoulders are more on the broad side so it can be hard for me to find a more fitted shirt I really like. But the Arc'teryx A2B Polo Shirt has a nice fit in the middle with good length sleeves and torso like you'd expect in an active shirt. I wear a size L in this and got the Neptune color. For reference, I'm 6' tall and 190 lbs in case that helps with fit.

Lightweight jacket for all-season travel
5 5

Familiarity: I've used it several times
Fit: True to size
Height: 6' 0"
Weight: 190 lbs
Size Purchased: Large

I was given this product from Backcountry, but this review is my personal opinion. The Arc'teryx Zeta SL jacket is an extremely lightweight, packable, GORE-TEX shell that's proven to be awesome for my hiking and backpacking needs. So far I've taken it out day hiking around Marin Headlands, and backpacked with it for 4 days through Yosemite. I weighed it before putting it in my pack and was stoked it was only 11 oz.

I tried out a size L which fit well. For reference, I'm 6 ft tall and 190 lbs in case that helps with fit. I noticed that the sleeves run a bit long but the velcro straps really help taper the end of the sleeve so that it doesn't go past my wrist. It fits awesome through the chest, shoulders and waist. Sometimes it's hard for me to find something that doesn't puff out in the middle, so I appreciated that this jacket takes both fit and function into consideration.

Even though this is considered a super lightweight jacket, it feels more durable. Had no issues wearing it under my backpack for several days in the backcountry. The arm straps from my backpack showed no wear on the jacket so I feel like it'll hold up well in other seasons too. Super impressed with the quality and really dig the dark teal color, Labyrinth. All in all would highly recommend the Arc'teryx Zeta SL jacket.
