Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

As noticeable as a thumb drive in your pocket but still an incredibly durable tool. A series of magnets lock positions so you don't have to fumble around making sure everything is at the right angle make any quick adjustment quick and simple. Plus, crack a beer bonus points.

These boots are great! Durable for light work and stylish for around town. They took some breaking in but now that the leather has softened up they feel great. The split in the back of the cuff make taking these on and off effortless. I normally like the look of a leather sole over rubber but these rubber soles are not enough for me to take away a star.

The Wife: Got these as a gift for my sister who does a variety of workouts. She said they work great for running on the treadmill but tend to fold and need to be readjusted when doing lifting.

The Wife: I'm not a bathrobe person however, with a kid coming and an imminent hospital stay I knew I had to have something. This fits perfectly and is extremely warm and cozy!

The Wife: I could live in these pants every day if it was socially acceptable. They are so comfortable and flattering. When it comes to active wear, they don't stretch as much as I would like for yoga but they would be perfect for bouldering.

The Wife: I needed a sturdy bag that would hold my Ipad and everyday purse items for work. I wanted something that looked a little more professional and could get the job done. This purse was perfect! It's able to hold all of the weight of my ipad and still be functional.

I grew up on a farm and grew up on Carhartt. This brand keeps getting better and better. Now with FastDry technology this is durable like the shirt you used to get 20 years but now you have to work a lot harder for those pit-stains.

I do love me a good wool sock but I don't think I will be taking these backpacking anytime soon. I broke these in with a little causal wear and some yard work and they were comfortable and the thickness gives it some really good cushion. Only complaint I have and probably why I wont bring them backpacking is that they did pull a little towards the toe, but that's probably because I was towards the lower end of the sizing I got.

I got this to gain some control on a dog that likes to pull. Honestly, I think it's a bit bulky but my dog doesn't seem to uncomfortable, no more than when she wears a jacket. If your dog is right on the top end of sizing I might suggest sizing up. My dog was an inch skinnier than sizing for a Medium and if she were much larger it might not have fit.

This might not be the most practical tool in the VSSL line but it is the one you will enjoy the most. Whether you are looking for a camping flask or a flashlight for your liquor cabinet this hits the spot.

Pictures do not do justice for how sturdy this is.
