Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I have used the Grigri 2 for many years. I bought the new Petzl Grigri and it is so smooth and awesome. I have only used this one a couple of times. It is very easy to give slack, also very smooth lowering. The anti-panic stopping system is good for beginners or if you don't fully trust your belayer. It is nice to be able to switch between top rope and lead modes!

I only demoed this harness once. I was only able to use it in the gym. It seems like the features would be nice for a multi-pitch though. Sizing wise, I wore a large and didn't have trouble getting the leg loops tight on me. I am a 32 waist, 6'0, 175 lbs and it worked out for me.

I have only used them in the gym so far. They are comfortable, perfect for multi-pitch climbs or in the gym if you don't want to take your shoes off after every climb. I sized up a half size from my street shoe and they worked great for me. For a tighter fit- go street size, if you like a more comfortable fit go 1/2 size up.

Familiarity: I've used it several times

I have only used these shoes inside so far but they have impressed me on steep sport climbing and boulder problems. I don't like crushing my foot so I sized up a full size from my street shoe. It is all relative though to your preference. For me, they were still tight and fit my foot well but had a nice fit. If you like your shoes super tight then I would go street size to 1/2 size up, if you want a tight fit but more on the comfort side, go a full size up.

These bindings are my go-to Burton bindings. They are a good medium flex, 5-7 on the scale. They feel smooth and surfy in powder and also hold their own in trees and in steeper terrain. They also worked well for me in the park. I used the bindings with the Kilroy directional and felt like I was carving on a surfboard. It was a sick setup for sure!

I went with the 7 foot log. I live in Salt Lake City, so I only make it out to surf every now and then. I went with this board because it can perform in many different conditions. Whether its 2 ft or overhead, this board will be a good time. It is easy to paddle and catch waves, also good in shorebreak conditions because it is durable and you are less likely to hurt yourself with a foam board. I really like the fins on this board compared to the fins on a wavestorm, they are way better! I spent the week in Santa Cruz and had a great time on this board.

These shoes are amazing. They are comfortable for a more aggressive shoe. I got a 43.5 and I usually wear an 11 street shoe. They broke in quickly. I would size down 1/2 size to a full size depending on preference. I personally don't like my feet to be extremely uncomfortable when I climb so 1/2 size down was good for me. They will stretch a little bit over time.
