Julian Garland hit it right on the head, reference the review below for some next level fit data...I have a few pairs of these and they have been very durable and dont fall off when I get the wind knocked out of me on a wave I couldn't catch!

I really enjoy these shorts. In fact I've purchased a few pairs in different colors. I love the fit and the fabric. They are breathable and have the right amount of stretch in them. The only complaint I have is that I've had the zipper bust on one pair. Other than that, they've been a super solid pair of mtn bike shorts.

I've owned several pairs of frogskins over the years and I keep on coming back to them. Love the classic look of them and all the different frame and lens combos. They fit perfectly on my noggin and are super lightweight. Will always be my "go to" shades.

Love this headlamp. It's very bright and pretty lightweight. I really like all the different functions that it has. Only complaint is it's a bit tricky trying to remember how to access all those different functions. Super solid design.

Love the creativity behind most of the SockGuy socks but the actual function of the socks are just ok. My biggest complaint would be the compression. I would love for them to have much more compression than what they currently have. Great sock if used for everyday sock however.

Have over a dozen pairs of Saxx, mostly the vibe or the 24Sevens and love those. The Platinum's fabric is so soft and comfortable, but hold up well throughout its lifespan. The fabric isn't as thick as the 24Sevens (I like the thicker fabrics) and thought I might not be as stoked on these, but absolutely love them. Still haven't found a pair of Saxx that I wasn't super stoked on.

I have a lot of reels made by all the big names, Orvis, Sage, Lamson, etc. and love my Ross reel as much, if not more than the others. It's super smooth, dependable and beat-proof and I love the fact that it's historically always been a product you know was made in America. The craftsmanship shows. Love supporting this company. I have a 7wt and can easily handle big streamers for trout or poppers/streamers for smallies and pike.

Love everything that Rio produces. Backing is a pretty simple product, but the Rio backing always looks good and performs well. Got the 20 lb for my 7 wt, which is a bit of overkill for trout, but I use this to also go after smallies and the occasional pike in MN and Canada every so often.

Anybody w/ high performance, technical layers needs to wash them w/ Nikwax every few months. Keeps things clean, breathable and helps a bit w/ the waterproofing. Pair it w/ their other products to really bring back water repellency, etc.

Over the last few years I've totally upgraded my drawers drawer. No more boxers, no more cotton. These are the best and most comfortable undies you'll put on, plus they're pretty high performance considering these aren't the performance level Saxx's. I wear these camping, fishing, snowboarding, etc. every time I'm out and about and never even think about the boys unless it's to stop and appreciate how comfy I am.

I like having two spools for my higher wt reels where I might want to throw a floating line at one point and a sinking line at a different point. Instead of having separate reels it's just a quick swap over and I'm all set for a different strategy. Bought this for my 7 wt for smallies and pike in Canada... love Ross reels!

I purchased these for my mother, she loves her some Gotland wool. These slippers seem very well made, I have read some reviews that talk about them being scratchy so I included a pair of smartwool socks. A comfy Mom is a happy Mom.

This pack is a super beefy, bombproof drybag that stands up to the rigors of fishing while also being comfortable enough to rock it for a full 8-hr day of fishing as needed. Two things immediately stood out when I first got my hands on this: 1) the nylon coating used on the outside is legit... I don't worry about damaging the bag by throwing it around in a boat and/or busting through briars 2) they've done a good job w/ the storage compartments... you have a pocket for seemingly everything so your gear stays both organized and dry. I also prefer a roll-top bag over the zipper since it gives you options on synching the bag down tight when there isn't much in there.

This is my home for all of the smaller dry flies in my quiver. It holds flies well, keeps them dry and as organized as my OCD allows them to be. It's a pretty large box, so I typically use it to house my overall selection and I'll pick the dozen or so I might need on the water for any given hatch(es).

You can obviously pay for flouro leaders that cost more, however, it's a very rare occurrence that you spook fish because your leader was visible (unless it's just too short). I fish with these leaders exclusively and have always found them to be incredibly durable and they roll over well. If you're in stillwater then just add a bit of flouro tippet to the end of these leaders for both invisibility and to lengthen the life of your leader!
