Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I had previously purchased the Limelight 3p, it was the first higher dollar tent I had ever purchased. After my experience with it I knew that I would be sticking with Marmot on my next tent purchase. In anticipation of my upcoming AT thru hike, I decided to go with the Limelight 2p. Now I know I could have gone lighter but after using both tents I will gladly carry the extra weight. The peace of mind in knowing that even in a huricane I would not get wet is well worth it. Simple set up, new features like D door which doesn't seem like it would matter (unless you have left tent door down and stepped on it driving the mesh into the mud) make it even better, not to mention the new bar vent that helps with air flow and condensation. Plus you get a footprint and gear loft free of charge. Of course there are a couple things that could be improved like a second door and vestible and maybe a little lighter, but thats just nit picking. Overall this is the best tent I have used and would recommend it to anyone.
