I love this bag! So much that I bought another one! When I travel, I used to use rolling luggage and a backpack and the Cotopaxi Allpa has replaced both. It fits easily in the overhead bin and is roughly the same size as my international sized carry on bag. There is plenty of room for all of my clothes and a layer or two (using packing cubes) for at least a weeklong trip. The laptop sleeve could be a little bigger - I had to put my 13” laptop in the compartment but not in the sleeve. Not a big deal but it would’ve been nice for it to fit. The top zipper lets me have quick access to liquids and other things I need to get to. The Allpa carries very comfortably for me, even when full. Super durable materials, would definitely recommend!

I especially enjoy this bags efficiency in conserving body heat. The expandable sides allow for your body to be heating only the amount of the bag your body is taking up. They also allow you to be able to curl up without getting tangled in your bag. Being only 5'4 tall, finding a bag that fits me well is a bit hard. I appreciate the tethers at the bottom of the bag to adjust the bags length. At its smallest, this bag fits me well.

This pack is well-made and well-designed. The pack is very adjustable and it can be easily done. One feature that stood out to me was the ability to change the division of the main compartment to have a separate area for a sleeping bag or eliminate the extra area making one large compartment. This is useful because it allows your pack to be arranged in multiple different ways. My one critique is that the rain fly is not sewn into the pack. It is tethered by a detachable cord but in the past, I have preferred to have a sewn in rain fly.
