Stoic Blue Lagoon Shirt
4 5

Familiarity: I've used it several times
Fit: True to size
Height: 5' 8"
Weight: 165 lbs
Size Purchased: Medium

I was given a Stoic Blue Lagoon Shirt (Size Med) by Backcountry, but this review is my personal opinion. The sizing was as expected. I’m 5’8” and 165 pounds, and medium in most brands fits me well. The Stoic Blue Lagoon shirt is similar in sizing to what you’d expect from Patagonia or The North Face. Long enough to wear tucked or untucked. But not too long to look too sloppy untucked. I’ve only worn it a couple of times so far, but it’s been washed and didn’t shrink. I can’t comment yet on long-term durability, but it seems like it’ll hold up well. I’ve had a few other Stoic products over the years, and they’ve all stood up well to being actually being used when you go out and play. The product description matches the website, and this one won’t disappoint at a party shirt. This pattern catches the eye for sure. Great shirt for the price whether you want to hang at a party or stand out on the trails. A great alternative to wearing blaze orange on the trails in in the fall.

Marmot PreCip Eco Jacket Review. Size Medium. Color Surf

I was given a PriCip Eco Jacket, but this review is my own opinion. I’ve had it for about a month so far, and it’s been a great addition for late winter early spring here in the VA mountains. The medium fits perfectly even with a fleece or hoody underneath for warmth on colder days. For comparison, I typically wear a medium in Patagonia and the fit here is spot on.

I have used it for a few hikes and just kicking around on the backyard trails with the family. Freedom of movement is great, ventilation is a plus, and it has kept me dry so far. Jacket seems well made, and I expect it to hold up. Light and easy to throw in the pack and forget about unless the wind kicks up or the rain sets in.

For the price and quality, you can't go wrong.
