Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Wow I hate to let the secret out on these bad boys but they're amazing. Before I purchased these I wore a pair of Sorel boots that lasted me a couple years and wanted something similar, simple, and cute to wear casually for fall and winter. I love dressing these up with some cute smart wools. I love how durable and comfortable they are, not too mention so light which I wasn't expecting. True to size as well. My Sorels were a size 7 and so I went with 7 in these, perfect fit. I love them, can't get over how happy I am with these!

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Fit: True to size

Was struggling to find the right use for this jacket. For colder temp hiking during spring and fall, it worked well with high exertion going up but coming down on a hike I would get a bit cold. It's kind of a specific piece in my opinion that needs the perfect conditions. If you're a colder person like me you may be better off layering. I can see the potential for this with ski touring on warmer days so I'm going to keep trying it out because it's super comfortable and great quality to be expected, which is why I wore the life out of my nano air hoody. I have used it running in colder temps and loved it for that use if nothing else! It has been breathable in that respect and if I’m moving it keeps me warm but not overheated.

Trusty little jacket

I've had this jacket for 3 years now. Have a small, my usual size. The great thing about this jacket is I've used it for everything from windy mountain summits to snow, rain, and trail running. It's pricey, but the use I've gotten from it is a testament to its durability. I don't own an insulated waterproof jacket so I like to layer an insulated piece (like my Patagonia sweater down puffy) underneath in colder temps and snow, works like a gem.

I've had my eye on this jacket for awhile. I lived in my down patagonia puffy last winter and it's the warmest, comfiest jacket. I love the colors patagonia has in the nanos.

This pullover has been my go to for cold camp mornings/nights because it's kind of like I'm still in my sleeping bag sitting by the fire, it's that cozy. It's comfortable to sleep in also. Worn this in low 30 temps and it's kept me warm, also easy to layer underneath. The zipper pocket it great, I like that I can fit my phone, keys, dog leash, granola bars etc. into it plus having the kangaroo pocket for cold hands is so useful. The length is good because it's long enough not to ride up. I've worn small in all my patagonia jackets/fleeces and this in a small also. Maybe could have sized down considering the length is longer and it's significantly more roomy in the body than my other puffs which I really don't mind, that definitely contributes to the comfort for me.
