Awesome Hiking Short
4 5

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Fit: True to size
Height: 5' 9"
Weight: 171 lbs
Size Purchased: Medium

First - I love these shorts. The weight of the cotton is perfect. Not too hot but not too thin. They move great and the length is perfect.

The only reason these lost a star is the belt loosens way too easily when wearing. Not enough to deter me from buying my second pair but wish the belt would hold the shorts up more.

Keeps my head warm but doesn't overheat. I smacked my head going through a tunnel (feel free to laugh) and I got a minor concussion. I dented the helmet but can't imagine what would have happened if I weren't wearing a helmet or if it didn't have MIPS. Would definitely buy again.

After purchasing a different brand of mitts and having my hands almost freeze, I was really counting on these to deliver. I love these. They are great for freezing temps, especially with the pockets for hand warmers, which I only had to use once at the peak of Sugarloaf. The glove liners are great for being able to check your phone on the lift without your hands freezing. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

This is a great breathable jacket to wear on a rainy hike or just to and from work during a rainy day. Unlike my other rain jacket, this does not get stuffy or overheat. Only thing I'd change is it runs a bit long.

Love my Hydro Flask for a day at the office or to leave in the car for an ice cold drink of water after a hike. Throw some ice cubes in this and leave it in your car to enjoy after your finished with whatever outdoor adventure you've gotten into. Perfect size as I don't have to fill it up between every meeting when I'm at work.

Last winter was my first season skiing - so this is my first ski jacket. I love this thing. Lots of pocket space for all the essentials. Great for laying with my Patagonia Down Sweater Jacket during the freezing cold but breathable enough to wear alone during Spring skiing. The only thing that I was let down by is the pocket on the left sleeve - it is great in theory for trail maps and such but is almost impossible to close with just one hand, so you'll need to take of your glove/mittens or grab a friend to help you.
