I like these Fox Ranger Cargo shorts. The fit is correct. The length is just over the knee, it does not interfere with my knee pads and they look good off the bike. The hand pockets seem a little high but that just means my gloves won't fall out when I'm not wearing them. The single left side cargo pocket has an envelope style flap, sort of like an old school sandwich bag. Until so far my sunglasses have not fallen out yet. However, since it is located rearward of the mid-line, when you fall on that side, you land on the pocket (read: broke my sunglasses). I highly recommend these for the rider that wants an overshot that is not too baggy.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These straps are a must have for any backcountry skier. Last week on a trip to Canada one of the tail straps ripped off one of my skins. Behold the trusty Voile strap. I just wrapped around the ski and over the tail of the skin and I didn't miss a single lap. For those not inclined to backcountry ski, they will hold pump or spare tube to any bicycle frame.

Fit: True to size

Size Purchased: small

I love this shirt. It is a great fit, not skin tight but not loose. This uses their 200 weight material which is great for all around use. And as it is wool, it does not retain odor like poly pro does. My wife loves that part!

Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

These skins are the best! I have been using some version of these skins since the beginning. They are light, grip, glide and stick to our ski base like, well, glue. The new tip attachment is much easier to install than the old fold over one.

I don't know why I was expecting pants, it say tights right in the title. However, they do not fit like tights. Not like pants either. Like tights that are a half size too big. The material weight is a little more than lycra but not fleecy. Just a little warm for a trail run at 40 degree temperature. Overall, I think I will end up liking them.

What normally follows after that intro is "pick two". With the Schwalbe Nobby Nic you can have it all. Under 800 grams, excellent traction and I haven't torn the sidewall yet. The casing is more supple than my old tires so I have to run a little more air pressure
