Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Originally purchased this pack for traveling (and it’s done exceptionally well! - copious amounts of space and versatility!), but found it to be fantastic hiking and camping. Very durable and well thought out design, it’s become my go-to pack for almost all outings. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this pack!

Familiarity: I've used it several times

I was in the market for a double sleeping bag - sometimes it's just nice to have lots of room (like you're home!). Big Agnes has always put a great product, so I had no problem pulling the trigger on this one. Plus, I figured it would be a good idea to get a well-insulated version of this since in most cases, it's easier to cool off than to heat up.
When the sleeping bag arrived, I have to be honest, I was disappointed that it was so thin....and light (I know, that may sound funny since weight is always a crucial factor in outdoor equipment). I would not believe this would keep me warm on a cold night by a lake! I reached out to Big Agnes headquarters and inquired about their 15-degree rating. They assured me that it was accurate. So,....I decided to put it to the test. It packed exceptionally well and was light to pack up to the lake where I was planning on testing it. Turns out, I actually toasty all night! Wonderfully surprised!
Totally recommend this double sleeping bag from Big Agnes!

You'll be pleasantly surprised.....

Fit: True to size
Height: 5' 7"
Weight: 175 lbs
Size Purchased: 30

These Men’s Stoic Boardroom Stretch Hybrid shorts are 5 stars! I was hesitant to drift away from my normal cargo short wearing lifestyle, but it came down to me really needing a pair of 'dressy' shorts when I head out on the two on a hot summer night to look a little more ‘groomed’ (I was always looking a little,....rough!). Absolutely love the material - very lightweight and stretchy.... something I'm not used to and didn't think I'd like, but discovered I really dig them!! Get lots of compliments (whether it's the change people see in me, or the shorts themselves), these shorts are a winner!
I’m 5’7”, 175lbs, and usually wear a size 30. I find these shorts true to size. The stretch fabric is a real plus; it’s a ‘dressy’ look, very light, and extremely comfortable. It feels like a quality boardshort, but not meant for being in the water.
If you’re looking for high quality, comfortable, good looking short, give the Stoic Boardroom Stretch Hybrid short a try. C’mon, guys,….can’t wear those worn out cargo shorts forever. Time to shoot for a little style – you won’t regret it!

Great Mid-Weight Down Jacket!
5 5

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Fit: True to size

Living out here in the Pacific Northwest, I was able to give this jacket a good work through evaluation. The Silver Fork Down jacket has lately been my "go-to" jacket for a variety of conditions; but for some of the stuff I do, I would not use it exclusively - I would incorporate it into a system. I'm giving this a full 4.5 stars for the following reasons below. It really is a GREAT mid-weight down jacket; I really do love it! It's so light and unobtrusive, you don't even know you have it on. But the warmth is not overbearing - I've worn it just inside the house during the day instead of cranking on the heat on the thermostat - it's great! Outside on very cold days, it does exceptionally in heat retention; and I love the hood - it feels and reminds me of a light mummy sleeping bag (in fact, I've actually slept with it on - feels like a light sleeping bag! Would be great for camping!).
This jacket also has a nice capacity to fold into its own zippered pouch. This was great when I traveled to Cabo from Portland on a cold snowy day. Wore the jacket to the airport, stuffed it in its pouch, tossed it in my backpack, flew to Cabo where it was 80 degrees, came back to cold Portland, and the jacket was again handy to have while waiting outside for Uber.

The Pros -
- very light
- great down insulation
- packable
- fits great (true to size); I'm 5'7", and weight a muscular 175 pounds; size Large)
- works great as an under layer to a shell
- exceptional hood

The Con -
- being an avid outdoorsman in the worst of conditions here in the Pacific Northwest, whether I'm snowboarding, hunting, fishing, etc., I'm very particular regarding equipment and apparel. This jacket is a little water resistant; only. A quick trip from car to store during some rain is okay. BUT, outside during a downpour; no way. You'll get soaked. I would love for this to be water repellant. BUT, as I mentioned earlier - this would make a great underlay to a waterproof shell! I do intend on using that.

With all of this, I'm giving it a 5-star rating, and would highly recommend this jacket!
