Grip on bars is poor. There is insufficient silicone/gripper material on palm and fingers. Second, durability is bad. I have a 1 cm seam splitting open after only 12-15 hours of road riding time. Not recommended. It's 2019, and I am surprised something as simple as a cycling glove could be so carelessly designed.

Just received these and was happily surprised that they fit true to size, unlike a few other Giordana and other Italian clothing makers. I'm 6'0", 33 inch waist, 40 inch chest and size L is appropriately tight but not restrictive. Also, these tights have a little more flexibility than other stiffer deep winter tights I've used in the past. Performance and reliability are TBD of course.

I've used these 4 times for about 10 total hours of riding in winter near Seattle. They are thin fabric but more effective than expected in temperatures 40-50 degrees. Fit is perfect for my hands - slim all around for great feel on bars and controls. But I noticed today that the stitching came apart badly where a thumb meets palm. Really surprising to see so soon.

First, the jacket fit is OK, running true to size but slightly less racy/slim of a fit than I'd like. I am between sizes M and L at 6'0" and 180-185#, and bought the L for cool weather layers riding in the Seattle area all winter. I probably should have gone with size M.

The particular Goretex fabric used for this jacket is very good, but not the best I have tried in terms of breathability. I have a Neoshell-based Sugoi RSX that is still better: It's 100% waterproof for hours of steady rain, but just breathes better when the rain and humidity subsides a little to enable the membrane to let water vapor out. The 7Mesh is OK on breathability, but I still reach for the Neoshell jacket more often.

A sizing comment since this seems to be a questionable area with Suroi's RSX and RSE jackets: Just received the size L and it fits my 6'0" 182# frame perfectly as a compromise between super racy fit (like the RSE) and too baggy (most cycling rain jackets). Wearing a thin fleece long sleeve jersey underneath, there is just enough room that I don't feel pulling and binding, but it's also not flapping around either. Seems like a perfect compromise shape/size for winter riding in rain and moderate cold around Seattle where I live. No comment yet on performance of the fabric.
