It's not been soaked yet, but it's performed perfectly in light rain. Love the full side zips and hip-belt compatible pockets. Great waterproof zippers. L fits just right at 6', 205 lb, long-waist. I appreciate the extra length to cover my tail and preventing bunching up under the hip-belt of pack.

Great wind resistance and insulation for cool-ish temps. Used it regularly during evenings and while breaking camp in the mornings on multi-day motorcycle trip. Beauty of merino is that it's rarely too warm and this piece nails it, even with the wind resistant outer later. As with all Icebreaker items I've bought, I size up.

Update - Amazing piece of gear. Spent 7.5 hours hiking the Dolly Sods Wilderness yesterday. Started at 19F and ended up with a windy high of 24F. After we got moving, this jacket, over a shortsleeve Smartwool 150 Merino, was the perfect combination of wind resistance and breathability. I was never hot and never got too cold. The only thing I had to do was don or doff my beanie. It was awesome.

Used for parts of a 9 day, 16 state, 4500 mile Motorcycle trip. Outstanding breathability and comfort under riding pants. Alternated between these and padded cycling shorts and was perfectly comfortable. Can't wait for day to day wear while hiking in the winter. Icebreaker runs small for me so I'm always buying a size up. 202 lbs, 36-37" waist. XL fits great.

Motorcycle trip from Pittsburgh to Cheyenne, through the Rockies to Albuquerque, east to Charlotte then back to the 'burg. Got sun, rain (hard and soft), wind and general abuse/stuffing, loading/unloading. It was a great bag throughout. Lash points are great. Backpack straps are great. Not waterproof in 20 minutes of rain at 70-80 mph, but certainly kept water out during all but the worst deluge I rode through. The

It appears to be a bomb-proof jacket. Problem I had is that it runs surprisingly small large. All other Mammut gear fits me in XL, including vests and other jackets, but this one surprised me. I've been losing weight but I'm not so far along to order down a size. Despite that caution, the XL is still too snug in hips. Sad to send it back because it's just what I was looking for.

Great length, True to Arc'teryx size for me (XL for 46L jacket, 38" waist), perfectly warm in breezy windy teens over LS 150 merino baselayer and not too hot when it's up to 40. Perfect under a shell when it's colder or wet. Great length. Only niggle is no adjustment on hood. It fits well, but an adjustment to snug the hood around the crown of the head would make it perfect. Packs nice and small, about Nalgene size, and very low weight.

46L jacket, 38" waist, 59 Yr Old Dad build. Wanted this the moment I tried it on at local outfitter. Great warmth, great features, great weight and materials. Love, love, love the hood. Problem for me is it's too narrow at the bottom. Not its problem. It's literally all me. Consequently, it rides up or pulls zipper apart. Have to return for shorter style. Sad to see it go.

It's amazing material, well constructed and perfectly finished. It's just way too small for the size listed. Also, the ankle cuffs are too wide for bicycling IMHO and would be eaten by the chain rings in a heartbeat.

It's not just my feet because my sons had the same impression of their sets. Just not comfortable under sandals or water shoes. Almost like the toe box has a vertical bias rather than a horizontal bias. Maybe they would have formed to foot in time but I've never had a NRS product that didn't fit perfectly right out of the box.

Hold contacts and small first aid kit in middle, shaving kit on one side and toothbrush and paste in the other. Visible, Light, Easy to stuff into tank bag, bulletproof so far, Really great size. I'm ordering two more . I don't know that I'll ever need them, but I know I'll weep inconsolably if this one wears out and I don't have another. Or I can give them to my boys.

I've mostly been a Giro guy since I gave yp my old Bell bowl in the mid 80's. I was impressed by the reviews of this helmet and the sale price. Now I'm really impressed by the helmet and thrilled with the sale price. Great system for fit adjustment and strap adjustment. Didn't come with the light that was advertised, though. Holds my Contour HD camera with not problem . Nice color (grey/hi-viz yellow) and very good air venting. It's not the lightest helmet I've had but at 225lbs I'm not the lightest rider. I've used it in warm and cold weather for 16.5 mile daily commute and the adjustment to allow a cycling cap or beanie is really simple and efficient I've been using it for about two months.

Simple to use. Light weight, nice primary and secondary beams. Secondary (dimmer) beam could use a bit more diffusion but that's my preference. Nothing really stands out but nothing's really deficient, either. A good deal at sale price. Certainly not worth the full price.

Small and very bright. Nice options for flash or steady . Clips to my backpack for my center rear light on 16.5 mile commute. Top light is on helmet and bottom light is on seat post. Doesn't interfere with my wireless speedo like some lights do. Really strong clip that's a bear to get on because of the very small gap in open end. Once you're past that bother, it's a bear to get off and that's good. Easy to replace batteries. Reserve fifth star for long-term durability. On sale, it's a great deal even if it doesn't last more than a season.

This is an excellent shoe. Light, sturdy and well-constructed. The problem is that it runs small. I ordered the same size (44) as my old and worn Shimano MTB shoes and it was a full half-size too small. Back for a larger size. Learn from this and you'll give it 5 stars.

OK, more to say. I got the size 45 by exchange and it's a full-on 5 stars. Granted, I'm only a 3x week commuter for about 17 miles per day but it's an outstanding shoe. Light, well-made, great buckle/strap placement, stiff where it should be and a good, snug fit in all the right places. Size it correctly (up 1/2 US size) and you'll love it.

I have to agree with the sense of those who griped about the waist band. Having read reviews, I gave them a try despite the complaints. They're great boxers but the waist band it more than a bit much. Fold it over and it's not a real problem, but it it leaves me with a four star product. All other aspects of the product are excellent. Fit, finish, comfort, overall quality, etc.
