Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Fit: True to size
Height: 6' 1"
Weight: 170 lbs
Size Purchased: XL

I have the tall version, in the high-viz yellow. The XL fits my size 46 feet with plenty of stretch left.

These are great for the intended purpose - keeping water & wind from getting into your shoes. I rode a double century in 45-50°F rain the whole time, and the only part of me that was dry by the end was my feet. The relatively low temps kept them from overheating, and keeping the wind and water out kept them warm. The rest of my group were envious, and all bought their own pair after the ride was over. I've ridden them in less sever weather as well, and in warmer temps the sweat factor is a little higher, it's still way better than the soaking from no shoe covers, or the delayed soaking from regular thermal-style covers.

The down side of these is that they REQUIRE a dusting of talc, baby power, or corn starch before you put them away. If you put them away without that dusting, the next time you want to wear them you'll spend half an hour getting them unstuck from themselves. It's crazy how well they stick to themselves without any sort of adhesive.

They're not fragile, but not super durable either. Mine have a tear on the bottom of one from walking around, but it still works fine. Eventually the tear will grow, and i'll have to replace them. I figure getting a full season out of one pair is $18 well spent. They really paid for themselves on that one double century.

Oh, and go to the Velotoze website and watch the video on how to put them on. It's simple, but not intuitive.

Familiarity: I've used it several times
Fit: Runs small
Height: 6' 1"
Weight: 175 lbs
Size Purchased: Large

I bought one pair of these a few weeks ago on massive sale, just to give them a try - the $$ risk was relatively low if they didn't work out.

On the advice of other reviewers I bought a size up from what the size chart said - a large instead of medium. Good choice. The chamois is pretty good - thicker padding and firmer than my other kit, but in a good way. The straps run a bit short (I'm 6'1", long torso) and are a little tight when standing, but it's not a problem in the riding position. The leg material is really thin and very form fitting. Getting them on requires the usual fiddling to get everything in place, but once there it stays put and the shorts seem to disappear, I can’t feel them at all. “second skin” is a good description.

Last weekend I had two 175 mile rides wearing these and they came through beautifully. No issues at all with the bibs or my comfort in them.

I haven’t had them long enough to assess durability.
