Tian Luu's Bio

A self professed foodie born and raised in Utah. I left temporarily for a year to work in fashion in Hong Kong before the mountains quickly called me home. These days I'm still hopelessly cheering for my beloved Utah Utes and re-watching every episode of Friends for the 3rd time. Whiskey, my Aussie pup occasionally takes me for walks and hikes so I can reward myself with a cold Cutthroat.

This is hands down between all of my outdoor and casual jackets, my favorite item of clothing. This is the most lightweight and breathable but incredibly warm pullover. The material doesn't change during the washing process and it is perfect for almost every season. It is relatively good for layering considering how warm it'll keep you.

You won't need to buy more than one because of the quality and consistency with this pullover but you will simply because it's awesome. This jacket is perfect to take up to the mountains in winter as it is for a breezy spring evening in San Diego - I honestly don't understand how that magic works.

The only word of advice for first time buyers is that the sleeves are shorter than most jackets and pullovers so size up if you like longer sleeves that cover past your wrist.

This duffel is the dream. The only thing that could make it better is if the straps were like the non-wheeled duffel and a little sturdier for when you want to pop this onto your back.

Really great quality thick material but somehow one of the most lightweight carry one rollers you'll own. The fabric also makes it fairly easy to wipe off any damage done in transit. The bag fits way more than you think it will which makes it perfect for a >5 day trip.

Bought this in a L initially and had to exchange for a M. The material is nice and sturdy, looks great, color is what you would totally expect from Kuhl. The only problem is that this jacket definitely runs a little big if you are on the slimmer side, particularly in the sleeves which ended up looking pretty puffy. The shoulders are great for broad shouldered guys and the waist is really not bad but the arms felt disproportionately larger than the rest of the jacket. If you don't have broad shoulders for your size I would def size down. Otherwise it's an incredibly sharp jacket and perfectly lined for spring.

"Note that at this point I am only using the shell as I had the insole custom fit. In general the natural un-adjusted fit was pretty good and the boot was solid. Good comfort and great response to turning movement. Easy to put on an adjust. Would recommend to anyone with large feet!"

I bought this for my boyfriend because I got sick of looking at his thin old down jacket. Arc'teryx is normally incredibly dependable but I was not as happy with this jacket.

I should start with the good because it is SO lightweight but warm. Dependably awesome quality like everything else Arc'teryx makes.

Most Arc'teryx in general runs a little small for most people but my boyfriend typically does not have issues so I ordered this in a large per usual. The jacket is also noted as a slim fit every site you're on. He is a bit broad in the shoulders and the jacket fit on the shoulders but was large and boxy everywhere else. The arms were too large and long. The chest was a little loose as well and the waist area was incredibly large to the point where it really looked like he was wearing a full size to big.

I am already absolutely in love with this helmet. It is such a great value. The helmet has a beautiful matte finish and I haven't bonked my head yet but it feels incredibly sturdy. It's got a great soft padding inside that is so warm when you're up on the mountain. The padding also makes the helmet feels ten times more comfortable than many other helmets I've worn.

Fit feels great and should be perfectly snug with my hat and goggles on. Also quite lightweight and easy to tote around. Can't wait to be using this for many years to come.

I love the colors these vests come in. I bought this in an XS in the cream/red color and it goes so well with just about everything. The vest is lightweight but keeps you incredibly warm. I normally wear a jacket inside my friend's house but was able to spend the entire night in nothing but a thin button up and this vest and managed to stay warm the entire night. Awesome for layering as well because it's not puffy and cumbersome like some vests.

The vest does have a bit of a stiff feel to it but I imagine that will soften with time. I also disagree with some of the reviews that it's boxy and found the fit to actually be quite flattering.

I do wish that the pocket on the left chest was even just a little bigger for a phone when I'm out and about.

After 4 years of wear and tear I had to retire my former rain boots and decided to go with a classic pair of hunters. I bought these in Navy and they're beautiful. The shoe does run a little large so I bought a size down and found them to be perfect. Also loveee that they have adjustable calf straps like all Hunters that I've seen which is great for those of us that might have smaller feet but athletic legs.

Always anticipate that your Hunter's will be a shade darker than the photo shows. This doesn't make them any less gorgeous however.

I have taken these out a couple of times already and true to most rain boots these will definitely not keep you warm at all. I would plan on buying adequate socks for these but they will keep you dry for sure.

I bought this as a gift for my brother who has been obsessively searching for a no frills large water bottle which is exactly what this is. This is incredibly lightweight which I think is great but it doesn't have quite the insulation you'll get with something like a Klean Kanteen. There's no fussiness to this water bottle - it's pretty straight forward. All in all, a great gift or purchase for the price.

For those of us that shamelessly wear leggings as pants these are seriously warm. Easy to move in without getting too hot. I tend to run a little hot internally though so I probably will not be wearing these for running or snowboarding unless it's an absolutely freezing cloudy day.

My only complaint is that the waistband is disproportionately small in comparison the size of the leggings. If you've even the teeniest tiniest wider in your thighs or hips you'll feel like you're going to tear a seam getting the leggings past those points because the waistband has zero give. That said, once they're on, they don't feel tight on the waist so you just have to be careful putting on but they're comfy. I still feel in general that North Face tights run just a tad small based on several other pairs I own.

This is a no frills, keep you coffee warm as it needs to be mug. I like that you can buy accessories for it like the handle if you feel inclined but they haven't over-engineered. It's a great size that fits comfortable in your hand.

I have yet to take this for a test drive but I am so excited to update my snowboarding jacket. It's an awesome jacket for all conditions. The fit is probably a little bigger than I expected but even on a warm day, if I don't need serious layers, it's not so boxy and loose that it'll become cumbersome. That said, I've been wearing it in and out of the house for errands (because why not) and it's incredibly warm for how light the jacket is.

I think it has an appropriate number of pockets in the right places with long zippers that should make it convenient while on the mountain. Pockets are also big enough for any size phone, keys, etc.

Color is sharp, bright without being obnoxious.

Super great value for a ski/snowboard jacket. I do wish that I ordered true to my size at an XS. If you like to have just a big of wiggle and you've got a smaller frame I would recommend sizing up but if you're like me and tend to only pick warm days to be up on the mountain then it's a true to size jacket.

The quality of this shirt is awesome. It's a very thick warm wool though this definitely makes it a little itchy so plan on needing to wear a shirt under.

The fit is also a little big but due to the thickness it almost lives somewhere between a light jacket and heavy shirt. Snap buttons are great and make it easy for my sometimes-lazy boyfriend.

We bough this as a gift for my boyfriend's brother who drinks about 5 Cokes and 3 Slurpees a day. The first day he test drove this he had a slurpee in a warm house for about 3 hours and it was still totally frozen by the time he finished which is a testament to how awesome Yeti's handheld products are. As with the others, there is no transfer of temperature back and forth so it won't burn or freeze your hands. Great size because it holds a lot but tapers to fit into your cup holder. these are THE perfect gift - you get such great practical use for the price. We love these so much we now 8 different Yeti tumblers...

The shirt is incredibly soft, I love the bright color, and the sleeves are actually long enough unlike most button ups. Love that it's a boyfriend friend but still cinched at the waist so that it's flattering.

Got these for Xmas for my boyfriend along with the "matching" boots. He seems to love them though they were just a little trickier than normal to figure out how to step into (spoiler alert: you have to dig deep into the depths of the internet to find a video that's actually helpful on this subject).

The fabric and feel of these jeans are so incredibly soft. They're great quality for price you're paying though do expect some fading in the first few washes. They're also uber comfy and incredibly flattering in almost every spot which is hard for high waisted jeans typically. The fit isn't entirely true for me but jeans are such a unique fit on everyone. I've got a shorter waist and I do wish these were still a little shorter yet so that the bottom would fit better but otherwise, love them. Also would not recommend for anyone with a flatter bottom as these do look a little puffy and unflattering if you're really petite.

As with all Arctery'x, this obviously runs small in comparison to many other brands. That said, I really love the fit on my boyfriend. I bought this for him to take skate skiing and I think it will be perfect as a winter base layer for an activity that's going to be a little more strenuous. Breathable and easy to move in. Also looks really nice standalone but understanding that you're definitely going to see every little curve haha
