Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

It is hard to beat Rossi bindings. This company has been in the snow biz forever it seems like. Rossi is my go-to company when I need quality gear that is going to last a lifetime of abuse on the mountain. I have these mounted on my Dynastar skis and I have to say I freaking love em! Best pair of bindings I have owned thus far. You can't go wrong with Rossi FKS 120 ski bindings for a good, stable binding that pairs well with fat powder skis. I recommend these any day to anyone looking to get a pair of bindings without breaking the budget.

Tough shoes 3 years of abuse still work

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Fit: True to size

I bought these about 3 years ago and have put these shoes through the wringer! Despite a small tear in the leather on top of the shoe and some of the leather eyelets coming apart, these approach shoes have stood the test of time. I've used these hiking up mountains in Afghanistan, on the trails at home and in everyday casual life. The Italians know how to make shoes last. Highly recommend these. Get them brand new, I bought mine after market on sale and I believe they may have been a defect (hence the tears in the leather).

I take these sunglasses everywhere. They have last me through a trip in Belize, Afghanistan, and many other places. Costa is second to none in the sunglass business. I highly recommend these glasses for a classy yet sporty look. They go well with hiking clothes as well as a suit and tie.

Familiarity: I've used it several times

I bought this package a year ago from BCA and its never steered me wrong. Best and most affordable avy safety package on the market. Probe is easy to use, shovel is a no brainer and very sturdy and reliable and the beacon is the cats meow. Love this gear from BCA.

I've never had to use my BCA Tracker 2 Avy Beacon for an actual rescue, however the Tracker 2 is so easy to use that anyone can learn to use this device in a matter of minutes. Very reliable, batteries last quite a long time, and I don't go anywhere in the backcountry without. A MUST HAVE for the exceptional blower pow days on steep terrain and a must have in general. Highly recommend the Tracker 2. BCA has the most affordable and reliable avalanche safety gear on the market to date.
