Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I have a very hard time getting boots to fit. I gave these 5 stars even though the arch support is not high enough for me and I still need my custom orthotics. Out of the box, I wore them on a 3.5 road walk at 3.5 mph so hitting them hard on the asphalt. Then, on the same day, tested them on another 3 mile padded forest walk. My picky feet were so happy at the end of the day. I'll report back on how they hold up against our granite trails in the White Mtns of NH. They are very, very comfortable and flexible which will be awesome on our rocky, rooty trails.

I am a tough fit and not all Oboz models work for me. I own the 7" Bridger insulated boots, but the non-insulated are too snug. Oboz suggested I try the Sawtooth model. Perfect right out of the box! I have two pair - the Bdry and the regular. Once I knew they felt good I hit the pavement for 4 miles. Not one hot spot! They're coming to Scotland with me - to meander 100 miles of the Western Highlands.
