Familiarity: I've used it several times
Fit: True to size

I purchased this for teaching surf lessons and small surf days. It stays on well and helps keep the sun out of my eyes. I wouldn't wear it on larger days for fear that it would get ripped off my head, but it's fine most days in Florida. I will admit, I feel like a huge geek in it. But- it's worth it to protect my eyes. I have been surfing many years and resisting hats this whole time, but I'm at the point where the sun is just painful on my eyeballs; this hat makes it tolerable. It is a little large on my head but you can cinch it tight enough that it works. My hat circumference is 53cm and I purchased a S.

I have been using these for surf coaching. I teach kids and don't want any accidental peep shows. They are super comfy and keep everything covered. Also my boyfriend loves how they look on me- for what that's worth. I usually run after coaching and just keep these on. They're pretty versatile. I'm 5'6 and range between 130-135; I purchased the M. I wouldn't want a S for fear of the dreaded muffin top. I wish they came in more colors! The teal is beautiful.

Fit: Runs small
Size Purchased: 9

I bought these for trekking around France because I needed some comfy shoes. These are not it. I ended up leaving them at home in favor of some much less cute but much more functional sketchers.

However, I do wear these to work almost everyday and get compliments on them constantly. The look great with skirts and skinny pants. Although they are just casual shoes, they work at my business casual work place. I mostly sit during the day, and let these hang off my feet. If I walk around around, they start to dig into my heel; uncomfortable but not unbearable.

This may be a sizing issue, and if so, they run extremely small. I wear an 8.5 to 9 in most shoes and bought these in a 9. They always feel snug, but as mentioned, bearable. I recommend sizing up. I might purchase another pair in a bigger size to see if they're more comfortable because I really love them for work.

Of note, I have multiple pairs of volcom sandals in a 9 and they all run a little big on me.
