Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I finally killed my Fly Creek 2 when a zipper failed after 7 years and more than 100 nights out in it. Incredible for such a light wieght piece of kit. I mostly used it for bikepacking adventures where weight and space are at a premium. It kept me dry in storms and was easy to set up. It packs small and I never used a ground sheet and the floor stayed tear free. Set up with stakes and guy lines it wieghed in at 2.1 lbs on my scale. It is not roomy for two by any measure but it is lighter and much more comfortable that two bivies. If you are looking for a good, light and small shelter this is the ticket.

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Fit: Runs small
Height: 5' 9"
Weight: 165 lbs
Size Purchased: large

I purchased this to replace my old patagonia down sweater vest which I love. I assumed a large would fit the same as my sweater vest. Not so. The arm holes are super tight. I understand that they are trying to prevent air from escaping there but I am a far from ripped 5'9

Fit: True to size

I love wool socks and have tried many. The Smartwool Phds are hands down the best, most comfortable sock on the market. They last a long time and are good to use on the longest of backpacking trips to the longest of days in the office and everywhere in between. They are always the first socks I grab out of the drawer. Shame about the high price....
