Familiarity: I've used it several times

Let me start off by saying I have ridden a lot of bikes over the last 3-4 years looking for that one bike that serves all my needs. I have been a 27.5 guy for years and always though I would never ride a 29er until last summer. I was always feeling like I couldnt carry speed like alot of riders and once I tried the 29er I was sold on the first lap. Once I decided to go 29 then it was time to find the right amount of suspension. Coming from a gravity background I obviously leaned toward the longest travel bike I could find. Enter the Spartan 29.

Lets start off with the build. I chose the XO1 build as it has always been my go to groupset for performance and durability. The Rockshox Lyric has been my favorite fork for years and on my Spartan I decided to go with a 180mm cartridge which has worked great. The rear shock has been great as well as initial adjustment was easy and I havent done too much since.

The XO1 drivetrain has been my choice for many reasons but mostly because it works great with no issues. I've never dropped a chain and the shifting is always on point. The guide brakes always do a great job of stopping me when I go faster than I should which is most of the time.

Now lets talk about the ride. Obviously with 165-170 mm of travel this bike will handle anything you throw at it. I have taken it down our old world cup run and it performed better than some DH bikes. The shocks handled the rough rocky terrain great and I never felt uncomfortable . The big carbon hoops along with the Maxxis tires kept everything in check even in the wet sections. On single track runs this bike carries speed well and braking into turn was very easy. Ive had issues with my past bikes diving into turns but this bike feels very balanced.

As for climbing I was a little worried about how it would handle the technical climbs but my worries went away on the very first lap. I am not a great climber but when I came upon a technical climb I was able to get up it with ease. The big wheels go up and over all the small rocks and the suspension keeps the rear end glued to the ground so I never lost any traction.

I am 6'2 and was on the bridge between a large and an XL. I went with a large because I prefer a more playful bike and this bike even in a large is a big bike. Still very easy to flick around but feels very stable at speed. I also rode an XL but it felt too big to me.

Devinci makes some of the highest quality frames in the business and this is no exception. If you are after the ultimate long travel 29r then this is the bike for you. I have found my dream bike and it could be yours also.

Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
Fit: True to size

gave this to my sister in law and she tells me everytime we talk that it is her favorite jacket ever. She gets cold easy and she can wear this even in the coldest of temps with no issues. Fit seems good and it looks great on as long as you have a more slender build.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Height: 6' 2"
Weight: 200 lbs
Size Purchased: xxl

This shirt is perfect for those colder days as it is a little thicker than a regular cotton shirt. Same quality as you would expect from TNF and the fit is right on. Only problem Ive had is answering questions about Antartica .

Ive ridden the Warden 13 since it came out and its by far the best binding Ive owned. That being said when it was time to get my wife new skis it was a no brainer to get her on these. same function in a lighter package. If you are looking for a great binding and you have a lower din setting these are for you.

You want the best park ski then follow the lead of the best park skiers. This model not only slays the park but with 98 under foot it is also a great every day ski . suprisingly stable on hardpack and plays well in the chop.
