Fit: True to size

My main concern in trying a SIDI shoe was that the reviews are all over the place on reports of their accuracy in sizing.
I've used Shimano shoes for 12 years, in part, because I can rely on their fit being consistent every time..
I just got these SIDI Genius 7's and their size 46 is spot-on. They're a true size 46 (a US 11.5 regular width). Or at least SIDI's 46 is equivalent to Shimano's 46. No squeeze. No pinch.
I'd wear them as slippers if I wouldn't slip and break my neck. They're that comfortable!
That's all I can share for now. I'll let you know in 20,000 miles if they hold up to everyday riding.

I have ridden my HED Ardennes+ wheelset for 3 years, 20,000 miles, 1.5 million feet of vertical gain, under a 190 pound rider. Continental tires (first Hardshell, then Gatorskin, and now GP II 4000s).....25mm.....80 psi.

3 days ago I cracked the rear rim around a spoke nipple. If you ride the bike, things will wear out....things will break. I'm not complaining.

The wheel is in the shop at this moment getting a new rim. Going with the equivalent replacement HED rim.

Up to this episode, the factory build of these Ardennes+ wheels has remained true and trouble-free, through thick and thin.

There. That's some objective information for you to consider. Expectations are a personal benchmark that are not worth public debate. Decide for yourself if my experience meets your expectations - or if it even applies to your selection criteria.

Personally? I'm content with the service life I'm getting from these Ardennes+ wheels.

I've used the bundle for 14 months so that's a little over 10,000 miles.
HR monitor works as expected and so does the BlueTooth cadence sensor.
Unfortunately, 2 months after the warranty period expired.......so did the Speed Sensor. Fresh battery. Never been ridden in the rain. Impossible to receive impact damage because it's mounted on the hub body interior to the spokes. It just died. In 14 months.
The replacement is pretty pricey for what it does so I may go without.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Fit: True to size

I have three of these. The first one had a failure of the head band after about a year and a half. It wasn't a safety issue but the little piece that broke loose was `a bother to my scalp.
I replaced the first one with the same Synthe MIPS version because Giro helmets have literally saved my life in the past and I trust their technology. The replacement is still doing well after a year so I bought a third one when there was a half price sale. Now I rotate the two helmets on a daily basis.
