Familiarity: I've used it several times

I took this board on a handful of skins...Both Groomers and backcountry. I found it a little soft for the uphill climbs, but once you clip this bad boy back together is when the magic really happens. Turns and burns like an F-14 Tomcat in full attack mode. I found it moves on groomers like a rocket, while being fun and flexible.

Overall impressions were solid build quality, Interesting and dun fun/dare I say playful ride characteristics. I used some borrowed skins sourced from Voile during the testing.

If you're looking for something different, playful, and that will turn heads, I suggest one of these Bad Boys in your Quiver.

This jacket is fashionable and versatile. Great for keeping dry and toasty on those wet and windy days.

Taped and sealed seams make for a wind and watertight fit. Like being protected by a fabric version of Thompsons deck seal. Stay dry with confidence.

A little stiff under the armpits, but loosens up with wear.

Solid and dependable. Comfortable and lightweight. These are the terms I would use to describe this jacket. I wore this to tour and it ticked all the boxes on the awesome checklist. I am 5'4, 160lbs and this fit me perfectly.

Kept me comfortable and protected during a blizzard while out riding. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great Touring shell

I got this shovel in hopes of building sick kickers...It not only built sick kickers, but it was capable of digging out my car from some seriously icy and hard packed snow after two days of sitting.

Highly recommend to anyone looking for a bulletproof Portable Park accessory or just a diesel shovel for digging out the driveway.

This Shell was incredible. It has the incredible build quality and craftsmanship we all know and expect form Patagonia. This jacket is wind proof, waterproof and just plain awesome. I wore it in rainy conditions while skiing and though soaked on the surface, it kept me completely dry and warm all day.

The sealed seam pockets make for confidence with keeping your stuff from being lost. The internal phone and key pocket near the stomach makes life much easier, and keeps your phone out of harms way.

As a snowboarder, I found the length to be adequate to cover my booty, and the the cut to be modern cool, yet classic styling. The hood fits over my ski helmet comfortably, and does not take away from my ability to turn my head.

I have one of these that is now 10 years old and going strong. Built tough like a tank, it takes a beating in travel and shows no signs of wear and age. I have been using one of these for a custom 5'6 Swallowtail that I have hauled with me on airlines to many international riding spots. Love the construction, the epic look, and the storage capacity.

Solid and stylish. I love how roomy and robust this bag is. I can fit 2-3 snowboards with no bindings attached in it. I usually also am able to pack 2-3 pairs of bindings,a pair or two of boots, my jacket, pants, helmet, gloves, socks and my backcountry backpack in here.

Much like One of those magic expanding bags from Harry Potter, this bag will hold almost all your riding gear. Built bulletproof tough and overall awesome. The TSA and the air travel industry have yet to damage or destroy my gear when it is being protected by this bad ass bag.

Hats off to Dakine for building such a solid product. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for an awesome Rolling board bag for that cross country flight to the mountains, or that international jump to Japan or Europe for some epic adventures...Pairs really well with the Dakine Rolling suitcase series. Best part is the extendable handle can be attached to your other Dakine rolling luggage to make it easier to maneuver around the airport and to your destination.

I bought this jacket as a new warm layer for countryman touring. I found this toasty, wind resistant, and comfortable. Svelte enough to fit under my technical Shell jacket, while still providing me ample movement, warmth and comfort.

I also find it casual enough to wear daily for work and fun. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a solid insulated jacket for touring.

This board is an all around mountain slayer. It carves like it is on rails, and the response rate is incredible. The build quality is strong, and it is reflected in it's ride characteristics. Holds its own in the park and all-mountain riding without sacrificing anything. Lots of pop makes it a blast on side hits and kickers. I highly recommend adding this to your quiver!

This Crab Grab stomp pad is incredible...It slices, it dices and it keeps on Holding you to the board...Well maybe just the last part. The Glue holds like a champion, even in the coldest, and wettest conditions. Highly recommend for any surface you need a non-slip grip on.

I went with the Salomon Holograms to pair with my Salomon Assassin. These bindings are stiff and fairly responsive. I wear a size 7 boot, and use the Medium size bindings mated to a Salomon Assassin 150cm board. The

I found the stiffness to be a deterrent for me. the lack of flexibility, on such a stiff camber board was not the right pairing. I moved them to an Arbor Westmark and found these to match a little better. The extra stiffness mated to the softer board allowed me to get low and fast. Euro-carving was the name of the game for the day, and this is where the Salomon's really performed. Great for those of us who like a stiffer binding and a softer board setup.

I found these a little too stiff for park riding(at least for my liking). I recommend these for anyone looking for a backcountry freestyle setup, that will excel in booters and dropping large lines!
