Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

These will be back up to the long metal spork I just bought. Looking for solutions to eating out of food bag without getting food on me, or ground. Last year took a plastic spoon and duct taped a popsicle stick to it, but it broke while in my back pack. If these can hold up like I hope they can they will be a good solution for me.

Fit: True to size

Best fitting, and looking sandal ever owned. I have wide feet, and the BC gearhead certainly steered me in the right direction with this selection. They are great for kicking around town, and get compliments on their looks as well. Very happy.

would give it a try. Read some reviews recommending use of velcro at each of the snap to better secure. Done that, will have to wait for the rain to test. Does fit over my pack, and have rigged it to be a rain fly on my ENO, so should save some weight. Pray for rain?!

I have left it out, all day in full sun and the battery only charged to about 75%. Of course, that translated into less than a 75% charge on my phone; which I can live with. But hopefully the charge capacity will increase with use. Can't afford to depend on this product and not have it perform. But very light, easy to carry. Need to put it in a water proof sack to carry on trail.
