Familiarity: I've used it several times

This is just enough to stop some the bite of a cold morning wind. It's also not so heavy that I can't wear it all day long - inside and out. Not a slouch fit beanie. More of a classic fit cuff beanie. Huge bonus that this is 100% wool and not another cheap acrylic beanie.

The only bad part of these shoes is that they're probably not appropriate for every situation. If your favorite sneaker had a baby with your favorite sleeping bag it'd be the Ember Moc. And you'd want to wear them all the time too.

I got these for my sister who wanted something a little warmer to wear around campus in the fall. First time she wore them I got a text telling me how warm and comfortable they are. Tevas boots and shoes are awesome and the Willow Chelsea is no exception.

Got these for my sister because she wanted something warm and fun to wear around Campus for Fall. They look even better in person. I've always been a fan of Clarks. Can't say much to their insulation yet because they've mostly been worn around her house but she was excited to have them.

Bought this for a friend who works at a hospital and wanted something the same color as her scrubs. She loves it. It's enough to fight off the chill when she's working on a cold floor but isn't ever too much. Kind of a theme for the whole Patagonia Better Sweater family.

I think the graphic on this tee is so cool. Couldn't pick one of these up fast enough. The fit, as mentioned before, is a little boxy. Not my favorite. And I noticed the first time I had it on that there were a few loose threads on the pocket, but I have no doubt that's a one off. I was still super psyched about this shirt. Unfortunately, I spilled battery acid on it the first time I wore it and ruined it. May have to pick up another.

I ordered a size Large because I wear a Large in almost every other brand shirt. I own one of the older Carhartt Henleys and it's a staple for me so I wanted to pick up another. This shirt is easy mountain town style that is built to last. Not sure what else there is to say about it.

Bought this hat in the black and somehow it looks even better in person. The hat has a little bit of weight to it but you can tell when you've got it on that it's made well. Not that you should expect anything different from a Filson product. The leather strap for adjusting size in the back is very classy with the brushed gold colored clasp.

Just because this is Arc'teryx' lowest price approach shoe doesn't mean they overlooked any details. The quality is definitely there. Arc'teryx puts a lot of attention to detail into both the design and manufacturing of their shoes and it shows.
In the past I've had success ordering whatever size matched up with a EU 44. However, I ordered an 11 in these and it seems they should work okay with lightweight socks. Even then, they're a bit tight.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I love this size Hydro Flask. Sometimes my 40 is just to big to want to walk around with and my 20 isn't enough.
It'd be fair to say I have a Hydro Flask obsession, but I'd argue I just like my water to stay cold.
Bonus: the classic screw on lid on this bottle gives me complete peace of mind against spilling but could be swapped out for a flip lid or straw lid if you so desire.

Patagonia capilene is generally accepted as one of the best synthetic baselayers around. I'd have to agree. Knowing its a patagonia piece adds to the excellence because i know the quality is there and it was produced with thought about sustainability.
