Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

These are great shoes for the flat- or wide-footed who want high-tops.. but they run really small. A half-size larger than my street shoes is the first size I can fit into.. and if I want flat toes for crack climbing, I'm 1.5 sizes above street-shoe size... better try these on at a demo before buying!

I've been using these as twins for a few weeks now. They run through protection well, reducing rope drag, and stretch a lot for softening the load on your anchor. Be mindful of ledges below, and especially careful of what they run on if you're lowering or rappelling; the sheath is thin and easily damaged. With care, these are an excellent set of ropes.

I got these to climb in during cold winter months. That said, I don't use them often because it isn't really that cold here these days. I wouldn't rely on these solely for belaying or rappelling; get full fingers to really protect yourself and your leader. Great quality for what they are, though.

I love this jacket. It's excellent for early morning chills when camping, sleeping in on sub-freezing temp nights, and looks decent too. Like all other down jackets, it leaks feathers and is easy to tear, but that comes with the territory I think. Right price, right weight, great in a layer system.
