Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have flat feet and have a hard time finding shoes that offer the support I need and still be stylish. These are super comfy and have great support. They aren't clunky at all. Unlike the Nike Free which are cute, the heel offers support to keep my from twisting my ankle (I'm also clumsy), so these fit the bill.

I love these shoes. No breaking in needed, they were comfortable from the first time I tried them on and lots of support. I have flat feet so that's important to me. I was hesitant about ordering them online, but very please when I got them. They are much nicer looking in person and cute enough to wear around as well as for gym shoes.

I haven't tried these out in the water yet, but I did some light hiking and just walking around and they are comfortable and don' t need to be broken iin. Great traction too.

I had bought some other shoes that were more stylish but they weren't comfortable.

I have flat feet and these provide the support that I need. This is my second pair of Kayanos and my complaint about this pair is that the toe box on the shoe seems tighter than my old pair (before breaking in) and that the height of the sides is a little taller than the older model. It's only on one side, so I think it's a manufacturing inconsistency rather than a design change.
