Great all around pack - skiing too!
5 5

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I love Osprey packs in general - as they are very well thought out. I generally use them for hiking, climbing and backcountry skiing.

I needed a larger pack for day trips to accomodate extra layers and equipment, so i tried this one out.

what i love:
1) ah, the women specific fit! I am petite and the XS/S fits me so well, it's a pleasure to carry it. Never too long or awkward
2) Super comfy hip belt with good pockets - minus 1 point as the new iphones don't fit in them. Still they are perfect for small snacks, sunscreen, tissues, whatever you need handy on the go
3) the mesh back panel really does wonders for ventilation and keeping moisture from building up on your back
4) the trekking pole stow straps are super handy for ice axes too
5) i can easily strap skiis on the top side straps & sleeping pad straps.

Love it!

We love this top - it's a great mid layer that doubles up as a light outer layer when moving up in the alpine.

We love:
1) stretchy side panels that allow freedom of movement and heat escape
2) super warm core insulation
3) lightweight and packs small
4) extremely flattering fit!

Amazing, beautiful sunnies

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Fit: True to size

I am in love with these sunglasses:

1) the zebra light photochromic lens because virtually clear in dark/cloudy weather, allowing you to wear the sunglasses and get eye protection from the elements even in low visibility
2) it mirrors up beautifully in sunny conditions!
3) super light and comfortable to wear hours at a time
4) awesome color

I have worn these ice climbing and skinning starting very early am right through the day! My fave! Also, i have a small face and they work fine on me.

Amazing lens, flattering fit
5 5

Familiarity: I've used it several times

I have been a loyal Oakley A frame user for years… But looks like the Luna have officially won me over. And it's really because the photochromic lens is just so versatile as conditions vary during the day.

My notes:
1) this Luna has a Zebra photochromic lens rated 2-4 category, and performs extremely well from sunny to cloudy conditions.
2) wide field of view while retaining a nicely sized smaller frame which is flattering on
3) widely adjustable to wear with hats or helmets
4) they come in a really fun range of colors and lens combos!

i am also going to add this useful link from the Julbo website which explains the differences in their goggle lenses:

Great size for day trips
5 5

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have used this pack for hiking in the summer and ski touring in winter.

Notes:
1)While being light and small i can easily pack shovel, probe, a layer or two, skins, snacks, and of course it has the hydration sleeve (i actually don't use it in winter as water can freeze in the outer tube).

2)There are three zippered outer pockets and a stash pocket so organizing is really easy. The trekking pole stowing loop on the side of the pack works very well to secure an ice axe as well.

3) The women specific design makes it super comfy and the straps hit in the right places.

4) skis fit perfectly on the side straps

Bonus points: the pockets in the waist belt are large enough for an iPhone 6/point and shoot camera.
