Have never purchased these so can't comment on decline in quality. I love them, sooooooooo comfortable. They don't move, wick well and the fabric is very soft. Picked up a few pair of some berry color on sale and they do fade a bit in the wash but I don't care. Super comfortable. I would recommend them.

I wear these daily in the fall for yard work - as soon as it's too cool for shorts. I wear these instead of sweats. I wore these for hot skiing in Taos last February when everything else was too hot! I wear them out to happy hour in the evening. So comfortable and they look great. Love the fabric. They do not wear - I don't think these will ever wear out. Great pant for anything active - or just daily wear. Highly recommend.

Easy to pack, doesn't wrinkle, light weight, yet offers surprising warmth. I use it as a jacket to work, to bike or rollerblade, to cross country ski, as a layer under a shell for colder downhill skiing. Love the length a bit longer over the butt for extra warmth. It's close-fitting, yet the sides are stretchy so lots of movement. Have had this jacket for several years, well worth it. I got the roseberry color and love it. Most recently layered it under a shell for 8 degree skiing at Snowbird, UT! First time layering for cold and it performed perfectly!

WOW a friend (GUY) told me about these and I got a pair just in time for a ski trip to Taos. I had new ACL and both meniscus done 8 months earlier. The trip was a test - skiing 6 days straight. Wore the 3/4 length every day and I think that's what saved me! Not much swelling of the knee because of the compression. I followed the sizing chart and got a M even tho I thought L would be better. They are tough to get on but super comfy! Definitely helped not only my knees, but thighs and calves as well. Love them, think I'll get another pair!

Fit: Runs small

Close-fitting jacket works great alone for cold biking or under a shell for skiing. Very lightweight but very warm for what it is. Stretchy on the sides, wind and waterproof elsewhere. Nice deep pockets, no pit zips, tight cuffs on the sleeves. Good for a variety of uses. Longer in back keeps your butt warm too. Attractive fit a lot like the women's Marmot fit. I found it to run just a touch small - maybe just felt that way because it is so close-fitting. My normal size worked. I will use it a lot. The product description is very accurate and like any Arc'teryx product, the quality is superb.

Very light pants, very comfortable. I bought them for very hot March downhill skiing. I think they will be fantastic for that, but also will use for x/c skiing, fall rollerblading, fall bike riding and anything else when too chilly for shorts. They are shockingly light weight and stretchy, super comfy, can almost use for daily wear.
Love them so much bought a second pair!! Using for cold lawn/leaf work right now! So comfy, light and warm!

Absolutely wind and waterproof. Nice stand-up collar ultra comfortable fuzzy-lined. Classic Marmot fit and great quality. Really nice features: deep pockets, pocket on end of sleeve, velcro closures over all zippers and pockets, pit zips, adjustable cords on bottom and hood to snug up, soft supple material, zip off powder skirt and hood. The hood is not in the way and I don't even know it's there; may just leave it on. Very, very nice quality and extremely comfortable. Love at first sight! I could tell right away and clipped the tags off within minutes! Great jacket for 35+ degrees or 10-35 degrees with something under it.
Caught it on sale and if I could get another color at the same price, I would!!

Nice and cool for exercising. The usual Marmot flattering fit w/a bit longer in the back princess seam type styling. Had to buy a size larger than usual. Marmot is usually true to size but I liked one size up better. Got 'em on sale for 10 bucks so I got two. Went back for more and they were $20+. Glad I got two! love 'em! Every Marmot product I've ever had rocks (mostly ski gear - this is my first summer shirt purchase). They never disappoint.

I use these for downhill and cross country skiing. I needed a full side zip pant to wear over my race suit (hard to find). These are incredibly warm for how light they are. The best in all but the coldest (single digits) temps with just light long johns underneath. Probably great in sub-zero with polar fleece underneath. Nice flattering slim fit. Only downside is they don't zip over my ski boots and now the price is 20 bucks less than I paid a year ago! But I would still by them in an instant. Warm and dry with great wind resistance. Very comfortable fit. Excellent buy.

I almost didn't keep it because I have a Marmot soft shell, which is great in wind and rain. Turns out I wear it everywhere! And I didn't realize it's the same stuff my Marmot ski pants are made of that I bought last year. Both items are excellent in fairly cold weather skiing - in the teens. Excellent wind and water repellency. They are so lightweight you can't believe they are so warm. Fit is flattering. I can't wait to try the jacket in more layers (I love cold!) This is a must have for any sport out in the elements!
