Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Where to begin. I absolutely love this tent; Big Agnes knows what it's doing when it comes to making pack-able, lightweight tents that are still durable and able to withstand those stormy conditions. I got this tent before starting a season on a trail crew and it was my only home for 6 months straight. I was camped at high elevation in Colorado during their "monsoon" season and this tent held up without a single issue. It's the perfect size for two people or for one person and all their gear. I had an 85L pack that I stowed in my tent instead of leaving it in the vestibule all the time and there was always plenty of room. Overall this is an awesome tent that will not disappoint or fall apart on you. Its insanely light and packs down to so small you'll forget its in your pack on that long hike in. The MtnGLO lights are a nice touch to an already great tent to give a nice ambiance when you're getting ready to settle in for the night.

This bag is overall a pretty great choice for warmer weather camping. I prefer a synthetic bag as the synthetic does dry faster and handles wet, damp conditions a bit better than traditional down. It is a tad heavier than a comparable down bag but again, I don't mind the extra weight as I do like its ability to handle moisture. When buying Big Agnes bags, the traditional mummy bags like this one are insulated on the bottom while their Big Agnes System bags have a sleeve for their sleeping pads to slide in. The traditional mummy bags are more insulated on the bottom which I prefer to the Big Agnes System bags that are thinner on the bottom as they have that sleeve for a sleeping pad. Overall, this bag is a great bag for those camping trips in warmer conditions!

I got these shoes halfway through my season doing trail work after my first boots fell apart from the constant wear and tear. I wore these boots for a 10hour work day, everyday for 4 months and I still wear them for shorter day hikes. To say I am super impressed by the durability of these boots would be an understatement. My work days consisted of 3+ miles of hiking and hauling rocks with weekends spent going on 12+ mile backpacking trips and these boots survived it all while keeping my feet comfortable and dry. They're incredibly lightweight and durable (seriously they were really put through the ringer). I would recommend sizing up a half size as I normally wear a 7 and got these in a 7.5 and they fit perfectly. I prefer hiking boots to be a little more roomy so on those days I need thicker socks, I have some wiggle room. I would definitely recommend these boots to anyone looking for something comfortable and very lightweight, these boots are for you.

I got these shoes for my mom after her first pair started falling apart after 3 years of wear, needless to say, she's a huge fan. She wears them everyday for work as a gym teacher so she's on her feet constantly and says they're comfortable and keep her feet feeling fine no matter what she's doing. She wears a 9.0 and says they fit perfectly, she's worn them hiking as well so they stand up to the trails. Overall a comfortable, tougher, more durable shoe for everyday wear or for some moderate hiking.

I have these jeans in the Black and the Cargo Green and I absolutely love them. The fit is great, they run true to size and they do have a bit of stretch to them so though they're a slim fit, they never feel too tight. I wear them for work, to go out, really for whatever because as other reviews have mentioned they can be dressed up or down. They are a bit long so I have to cuff them once or twice but I actually like the cuffed look. I've even worn these jeans onshorter day hikes and I've stayed comfortable and cool. They don't cling as some jeans tend to do when you're moving around in them which is an added bonus! Overall my favorite pants!

I bought these as a gift and my friend absolutely loves them. He wears a size 10 shoes so I went with a size Large and they fit him perfectly; he's been wearing them around ever since. He likes the durability of the leather sole but the comfort and warmth of the higher sock.

A great shirt to wear while hiking, skiing, or whatever outdoor activities you fancy. It's super soft and a bit thicker than other baslayers without being bulky, too heavy or itchy. It's incredibly soft and breathable and it is a fitted shirt that runs true to size so if you want it to be a little lose, definitely size up. This shirt is a staple for backpacking trips during the summer and fall as well as for day trips to the mountain in the winter.

I got this jacket to be my go to midlayer for skiing and it has not disappointed. Super lightweight but packs a punch when it comes to warmth. When touring or snowshoeing I throw this on over my baselayer and I'm good to go, an added bonus is it is a synthetic insulation so it drys a bit faster than down when you're out and about and it starts snowing. It fits very true to size, perhaps even a tad smaller and it's cut to fit very close to the body so you don't have any bulk when using it to layer. The nice thing about the fit is you get a lot of warmth without any of the bulk but its still flexible and moves well when you're skiing. When downhill skiing, it fits under my jacket perfectly without feeling too snug . Overall a great jacket/layer that I would recommend to anyone looking for something lightweight but very warm.

I bought this shirt to have a warm layer for skiing or just wearing around town during those frigid Utah winter days and this shirt did not disappoint. I normally wear a Medium but sized up to a Large to wear it over my baselayer when skiing and to just have it be a little lose for those around town days. It is a thicker shirt so it's great for those bitter days as a layer or it can be work as a jacket for slightly warmer days. The wool does have a bit of a rougher feel than other merino shirts I've owned but not so much that it would stop me from recommending it. It's quickly become a staple for me this winter. The best part? The angled hand pockets!

These sunnies are awesome for everyday use or to wear on a ski tour on a bluebird day. Chrystal clear view through those polarized lens and a snug fit on your face so they don't constantly slide down your nose as some sunglasses tend to do. Pretty tough frames that don't bend or break easily so overall a sturdy yet stylish choice!
