Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

i made the mistake of forgetting this isn't nonstick, and my first time using it I severely burned some pasta on the bottom. after boiling some water i was able to scrape off the burned bits with a plastic spoon, and the anodized aluminum wasn't damaged or scratched whatsoever. This is super lightweight and packable. GSI always delivers excellence.

I really wanted these to work as my new multi pitch shoes, but sadly they aren’t meant for me. Every size I’ve tried is problematic for my feet, which are wide and have long, bony toes. I’ll try the men’s version I guess. Or save up some money and buy another pair of TC Pros !!

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I now own several different types of Buffs (I've become a total merino wool fanatic in general recently). They are absolutely worth every penny you pay and do everything as advertised. And when I wear the half buff as a headband or under my climbing helmet, it never slips. EVER. No other headband has ever achieved such a feat for me.

Fit: True to size

I bought my first pair last year and still annoy my friends everytime I wear them because I can't stop raving about how comfortable they are. These are extremely flattering, soft and thin (perfect for keeping me cool here in the desert). The reason it's not 5 stars for me is durability. I made the mistake of wearing these on a super rugged approach and wished I'd worn my usual trad climbing pants. But for mild-to-moderate approaches, hikes and sport climbs, there is nothing else I want to wear.
