Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
Fit: True to size
Height: 6' 0"
Weight: 185 lbs
Size Purchased: 47 (use Lake's fit guide on their website)

My first pair of the standard MX237 was showing some wear so I thought I would "upgrade" to the MX237 Supercross. The Supercross looks awesome and the tough leather sounds great in theory, but the comfort really drops compared to the standard MX237. I had issues with the top edge of the buckle/strap cutting into the front of my ankle through the very top edge of the tongue. Check the photo for clarification of the buckle/strap issue. The buckle/strap isn't as pliable as the leather on the standard MX237 and it cuts into my ankle. The standard leather moves when needed and is much better. This the only thing I could find wrong with the shoe. It may be much better on someone with a different foot shape than mine. It could also be something that breaks in very quickly and gets comfortable. But, I wasn't willing to check and see after knowing how comfortable the standard MX237 was.

I have had several different MTB shoes from multiple brands. This MX237 is by far the most comfortable cycling shoe I have ever put on. The leather is soft and doesn't need broken in to feel nice. Venting is great and I don't have issues with hot feet. The tread on the soles is the most gripping rubber of any MTB shoe I have worn. It is very secure on rocks and roots. All in all, this is a great shoe.
They run a little larger than other cycling shoes with a roomy toe box. Check Lake's fit guide on their site for info.

These gloves are great. I have worn them in temps down to almost zero. If you were not going to be moving much, you probably would want to wear something a little more insulating at any temps under 30 degrees. I am usually pretty active when wearing them and they have been great in all conditions that I have worn them in. The windproofing is great. Dexterity is also pretty good with these on. I usually hate wearing gloves, but these seem to get worn more than any other gloves that I have ever had. Buy them, you will not be dissappointed.

I was unsure about buying such an expensive jacket without having seen it in person, but with the help of the team at your site, I decided to give it a try. I am very impressed with the quality and function of the jacket. I usually hate wearing coats or jackets of any kind because they are too bulky and uncomfortable. I find myslef wearing this jacket constantly. I wear it during all kinds of outdoor activities, to the office, in the office and to the mall. It has been unusually cold here lately(single digits in the am and up to almost 20 in the afternoon) and this is all that I have been wearing. Yes, you would want to insulate better than this jacket if staying out for a long period of time, but with the wind cutting ability it keeps me warm enough on a 20 minute dog walk at 6:30am. All I can say, is that this is an awesome jacket and trust the team here.....They know their stuff!
