Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I am a hardcore review reader and took a chance with these shoes since they have mixed reviews. For reference, I wear anything from 35.5 to 37.5 in La Sportiva climbing shoes. I have a pair of trail running shoes that are 37.5. I would say my street shoe size is a 6.5. I ordered a 37.5 and 37 in these and both were too big. The 36.5 fit the best (I wear thin no-show socks with them). I climbed a flatiron in them and they stuck well and had good sensitivity on the rock. I mainly bought them for multi-pitch walk-offs and scrambling, however. The profile of them is pretty low; there isn't a lot of ankle stability, and there were some rocks that got in them, but I really liked how they performed. They felt like comfy climbing shoes. I wouldn't say they are super sturdy, so we will see how they hold up. But the packability and lightness of them appealed to me, and I'm glad I got them before my size sold out!

Familiarity: I've used it several times
Fit: True to size
Height: 5' 1"
Weight: 110 lbs
Size Purchased: 2 (Short)

The real test of these pants was squeezing through some chimneys last weekend that put my other climbing pants (Patagonia Venga Rock Pants) to shame. They protect your phone with the zip pocket on the leg, and really protect you from thistles, rocks, and moisture. The option for a short size is great (still have to cuff mine) and the back pockets are kind of pointless. The back pockets open up while climbing because of the buttons, so I wouldn't stash anything back there. They don't feel too heavy, and you can easily layer leggings underneath if it's going to get cold. Wish they had some flashier colors!
