Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I don't usually use a rap ring for a hammock although that seems to be the most popular thing lately.

I am a canyoneer and we use things constantly. Many commonly used canyons usually have mallions and if enough traffic goes through it mallions will easily be removed. I have noticed if I put a rap ring in them people are less likely to remove them because then they would have to cut the webbing. Downside you can't open up a ring.

Also when ghosting a canyoning these rings are the best. Easy pull downs. And long lasting.

I have confidence with my life when using this equipment.

Look up omega pacific they have great video on strength testing of their rappel ring. For anyone who thinks that they need a ring that has more strength.

Thank you OP.
